Hyatt is expanding its all-inclusive footprint in the Dominican Republic by announcing the forthcoming Secrets Macao Beach Punta Cana.

“Building on the success of Dreams Macao Beach Punta Cana, we are confident this resort will offer a premier, adults-only experience to perfectly complement Hyatt’s existing brand footprint in the destination, further elevating the appeal of this incredible location and its natural beauty,” said Georges Santa-Maria, manager, GSM Investissements Dominicana S.R.L., the owner of the existing Dreams Macao Beach Punta Cana, another Hyatt-affiliated all-inclusive property in the area.

Here’s what you need to know about this exciting new property coming to the Dominican Republic.

Secrets Macao Beach Punta Cana Opens in 2026

With an opening date set for 2026, this brand-new adults-only all-inclusive resort will feature 406 guest rooms and a full range of suites, including 111 swim-out suites and another 13 located on high levels with that same feature.

As you’d expect, the resort will offer an impressive array of dining options, with a whopping 9 restaurants serving cuisine from around the world and 9 bars, including a sports bar, a cigar lounge, and an all-day cafe serving small dishes.

The property will also feature a Preferred Club option, which will have “an exclusive dining venue [offering] an intimate setting with a curated menu and elevated service,” according to a press release.

Guests will be able to enjoy 3 pools, each with a different atmosphere. The main pool will embrace a beach-club vibe, and there will be an “activity pool” with entertainment daily. Preferred Club guests will have access to an exclusive rooftop pool boasting incredible views of the ocean.

This upcoming Secrets property will be next to Dreams Macao Beach Punta Cana, a family-friendly all-inclusive option. Secrets guests will have full access to the amenities on that property.

Further, the chain is expected to open Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana in the fourth quarter of this year, adding yet another option in the popular Caribbean destination.

Pricing for Secrets Macao Beach Punta Cana hasn’t been revealed yet. But when it opens, it will participate in the World of Hyatt program, meaning members can redeem World of Hyatt points for stays.
