Update:

The offer mentioned below has expired and is no longer available.

Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH) is offering 30% off room rates at 153 hotels worldwide as part of “The SLH Sale.”

If you’ve had your eye on one of these unique properties, now is a great time to book and score a deep discount. But you need to book quickly.

Let’s look at the details of this sale.

The SLH Sale

The SLH Sale runs through January 5, 2025, and offers 30% off stays of 2 nights or more at more than 150 properties worldwide.

The SLH Sale is for SLH Club members only, so you won’t find these discounted prices through other programs, including Hilton and Hyatt. Here are some more details you should be aware of:

  • You can save 30% off stays of 2 nights or more.
  • There are 153 properties participating in The SLH Sale, and the full list can be viewed here.
  • Your stay needs to occur between January 1, 2025, and December 31, 2025.
  • The booking window is open through January 5, 2025, so you have a limited time to book your stay.
  • To receive the discount, you need to be a member of SLH’s loyalty program, SLH Club, which you can join for free on the SLH website.

Some sample destinations include Asia, the Caribbean, Greece, Italy, Spain, the U.K., and the U.S.

What Are Small Luxury Hotels?

Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH) are now affiliated with Hilton hotels and stays with eligible SLH properties enable you to earn Hilton Honors points when you book directly with Hilton.

SLH properties are typically boutique in size, with locations in both large cities and smaller communities. These hotels often offer a small number of rooms based on the “S” in SLH. Some have fewer than 10 rooms, though there are a few larger properties.

Regardless of the number of rooms, you can anticipate a tailored, local experience when staying at an SLH property.

A Word on Benefits

As mentioned before, SLH has a partnership with Hilton, though booking through this promotion will not get you any of those benefits. To take advantage of the partnership, you need to book directly with Hilton. However, to save 30% with The SLH Sale, you have to book directly through SLH.

For reference, booking through Hilton gets these perks:

  • Complimentary continental breakfast for Gold and Diamond members
  • Complimentary Wi-Fi
  • Late checkout (based on availability at check-in)
  • One category room upgrade for Gold and Diamond members (based on availability at check-in)

So, when booking your stay, consider whether saving 30% is worth forgoing these perks you’d receive when booking through Hilton.

Hot Tip:

SLH Hotels tend to be very expensive properties, so even with the 30% discount from The SLH Sale, you may want to consider whether it’s worth using points on your stay for a free trip.

Final Thoughts

SLH operates some great hotels worldwide, and each property truly offers a small, luxurious experience, as its name implies. Saving 30% off your stay with The SLH Sale is a great deal, but you’ll want to review the savings to see whether booking through SLH or Hilton makes the most sense for you.
