To register, log into your Southwest account, click on My Account, scroll to the bottom of the page, and then click on Register.

What Is the Southwest Companion Pass?

The Southwest Companion Pass allows you to bring a companion on any Southwest flight you take for just the cost of the taxes and fees for the second ticket ($5.60 each way on a domestic flight). It applies to flights booked with cash or Southwest Rapid Rewards points.

Normally, to get a Southwest Companion Pass, you need to earn 135,000 qualifying Rapid Rewards points or fly 100 one-way flights in a calendar year. It’s valid for the rest of the year in which you earn it and the entire following calendar year.
