New applicants for the Southwest Premier Business card can now earn 80,000 Rapid Rewards points after spending $3,000 on purchases in the first 3 months your account is open.

Previously, the Southwest Premier Business card offered 60,000 points after meeting the same $3,000 spending requirement. That means the new offer provides an additional 20,000 points without requiring any additional spending.

We value Southwest Rapid Rewards points at 1.3 cents apiece, which puts the 80,000-point welcome offer at $1,040 in value. Meanwhile, the previous 60,000-point offer provided $780 in value, representing a $260 increase based on our valuations.
