Just in time to plan your Spring Break getaway, Fort Lauderdale-based Spirit Airlines has announced it will offer new nonstop service from 2 dozen airports in the U.S. and Caribbean.

Spirit Major Route Expansion for Spring Break

Spirit Airlines has announced the introduction of new service and the resumption of previously interrupted service to 24 destinations, perfectly timed for spring break planning. Many of these locations are renowned for their sunny weather and are popular choices for spring break getaways.

Most of the newly introduced flights are directed toward Nashville and well-known beach locations, such as Florida and Puerto Rico.

The new services from Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI) to Punta Cana (PUJ) and from San Antonio (SAT) to San Juan (SJU) are particularly noteworthy, especially since the latter will make Spirit the only airline offering service to the island of Puerto Rico from San Antonio.

Tickets for each of the new routes are on sale now on the airline’s website. Note that many of these routes are temporary and may end in late spring, unless Spirit decides to keep them permanently.
