Just over a half hour north of Cancun, Costa Mujeres is quickly becoming a hot destination on Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula. Marriott has now planted its luxury flag permanently in the area with the opening of The St. Regis Costa Mujeres Resort, Cancun.

The St. Regis Costa Mujeres Resort, Cancun, is set on an idyllic, nearly 9-acre beachfront site, providing guests with stunning views and easy access to beautiful beaches and to Isla Mujeres, an island that’s been drawing visitors for years.

The resort itself boasts 163 guest rooms and 50 suites offering views of Isla Mujeres, the ocean, and the city of Cancún.

Along with The St. Regis Bar and Jack’s Club, the resort offers 4 places to dine. Shami has Japanese fare and shared plates, Palmare Grill offers seafood and Mexican street food, Fish Market has Caribbean seafood, and Costa Coral offers Mexican food.

Amenities include a fitness center, a kids club, an adults-only swimming pool, a kid-friendly pool, and a whirlpool. The St. Regis Spa features skin care with traditional Mexican healing ingredients.

Expect St. Regis rituals, such as afternoon tea and evening Champagne sabrage, along with cultural programs, including sunrise ceremonies, coral reef restoration excursions, workshops, and family activities.

There are also nearly 9,700 square feet of event space, including the Astor Ballroom.

How To Book

Rates during the first few months start at $532 per weeknight, but the nightly price climbs to $2,135 over the December holidays. For guests using Marriott Bonvoy points, award nights from July to October are available for 102,000 points, while winter holiday rates peak at 146,000 points.
