Marriott has opened its sixth Autograph Collection hotel in San Francisco’s Financial District.

Here’s what you need to know!

The Jay Hotel Underwent a Multi-Million Dollar Renovation

The Jay, an Autograph Collection Hotel, has 360 guest rooms and is located in the heart of San Francisco’s Financial District neighborhood. Rooms offer views of downtown San Francisco, Coit Tower, or the San Francisco Bay.

The hotel’s opening followed a multi-million dollar renovation and now boasts an outdoor rooftop terrace, a new restaurant serving Asian cuisine and a play on traditional afternoon tea, and 13,000 square feet of meeting space.

The Jay becomes the sixth Autograph Collection hotel in San Francisco. Autograph Collection falls under Marriott’s Premium brand umbrella, alongside Design Hotels, Le Meridien, Westin, and more. Marriott has nearly 300 Autograph Collection hotels around the world.

“We’re so pleased to unveil The Jay at this exciting time in San Francisco history,” said The Jay General Manager Michael Musarra. “The city offers such dynamic experiences, beautiful sights and amazing cuisine. We are thrilled to incorporate all those elements into this new, stunning hotel in the vibrant Embarcadero neighborhood.”

Hot Tip:

To celebrate the opening, Marriott is offering stays of up to 30% off at The Jay through March 2024 with the promo code YX1.

Booking The Jay With Marriott Bonvoy Points

The Jay, an Autograph Collection Hotel, is now open for guests. The hotel is part of the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program, and you’ll be able to earn and redeem points during your trip.

Rates are incredibly affordable, whether you have millions of Marriott Bonvoy points or are a new fan of the program. You’ll find rates as low as 20,000 Marriott Bonvoy points per night or $247 per night for dates this winter. That’s a steal for the often-pricey San Francisco, where cash rates can easily top $500 (or more) a night.

It’s easy to earn Marriott Bonvoy points. You can transfer points earned from American Express Membership Rewards and Chase Ultimate Rewards cards to the chain at a 1:1 ratio. Occasionally, Amex and Chase will also offer transfer bonuses, giving you more points.
