Chase has quietly launched The Shops at Chase, a new shopping platform exclusive to Chase Sapphire Reserve® cardholders that allows them to shop at popular retailers using cash, points, or a combination of both.

Let’s take a look at the details of this new option for cardholders.

The Shops at Chase Platform Now Live

Chase has rolled out a new shopping platform reserved for Chase Sapphire Reserve cardholders (at least for now).

To find The Shops at Chase, log in at chase.com, then click on the right arrow under “Rewards” next to your Ultimate Rewards balance. This takes you to the Rewards Home. Scroll down until you see Shop Through Chase and click the “Enter The Shops at Chase” banner to proceed. You can also navigate to Shop Through Chase directly.

The platform was first mentioned in the issuer’s 2025 Investor Day presentation as “a premium e-commerce destination exclusive to Chase cardholders with plans to add ~30 brands this year.”

Currently, there are 15 participating brands:

    • Bang & Olufsen
    • Baccarat
    • Breitling
    • Callaway
    • Calpak
    • Cuisinart
    • Dyson
    • Ray-Ban
    • Samsonite
    • Smeg
    • Solo Stove
    • Sony
    • Therabody
    • Tory Burch
    • Tumi

It’s unclear whether Chase’s 30-brand figure is in addition to the 15 brands already participating or whether there will be 30 total brands this year. Some very high-end brands are on this list, so it would make sense if this platform were restricted to Chase Sapphire Reserve cardholders, which is Chase’s most premium product currently.

Speaking of premium, there’s speculation around the internet that Chase will soon increase the annual fee on the Chase Sapphire Reserve card, and part of the fee increase will include a credit to use at The Shops at Chase. However, none of this has been confirmed, and it remains a rumor until we receive more information from Chase.

    How It Works

The Shops at Chase is a shopping platform rather than a shopping portal. Chase has established partnerships with brands and acts as a reseller to consumers, letting them use cash (in the form of their Chase Sapphire Reserve card), Chase Ultimate Rewards points, or a combination of both to purchase products.

The platform is currently organized by brand and category, meaning you can select a specific brand that suits your fancy or browse all products across all brands that fall into a specific category, such as travel and luggage, electronics, kitchen, and more.

I’m in the market for a large suitcase, so I started browsing the travel and luggage category. I came across the Tumi 19 Degree Extended Trip Packing Case – Navy, which retails for $950 via The Shops at Chase platform. (I also checked Tumi’s website, and it was listed for the same price there.)

Clicking on the product allowed me to add it to my cart. Once I proceeded to checkout, I saw a more detailed price breakdown, which showed that I’d owe another $57 in taxes, which could also be paid for with my Ultimate Rewards points, bringing the total to $1,007 or 100,700 points, a value of 1 cent per point.

You can also use a combination of points and cash to pay for your purchase. I currently have a measly balance of just about 14,000 points (forgive me, as I just made a few travel redemptions!), so theoretically using almost my entire balance would leave me with a balance of $867 to pay with my card.

    Hot Tip:

We value Chase Ultimate Rewards at 2 cents apiece, meaning you aren’t getting good value for your points if you redeem them for shopping purchases such as these. Transferring points to any one of Chase’s travel partners will almost always give you more value on a per-point basis.

    Save 15% at Select Brands

To celebrate the launch of the new platform, The Shops at Chase is offering a limited-time “grand opening” sale of 15% off at Calpak, Dyson, Solo Stove, and Therabody.

Select products’ retail prices are discounted, and the points price is assigned based on the 1-cent-per-point value.

    Final Thoughts

Chase has rolled out The Shops at Chase platform for those with the Chase Sapphire Reserve card. The platform allows cardholders to use cash, points, or both to purchase products from an exclusive list of retailers that skew toward the high end of the spectrum.

Right now, it’s not a great value for cardholders, as points can be redeemed at just 1 cent each toward products. However, it seems like there’s more in the works for the platform, so we’ll have to wait and see how it develops — especially if the Chase Sapphire Reserve card gets a refresh in the near future, as has been rumored.
