Hyatt continues to expand its luxury and lifestyle brands with the opening of Thompson Palm Springs, scheduled for the end of 2023. This modern new hotel will be located in the heart of the Sonoran Desert city, with sweeping views of the San Jacinto Mountains.

Thompson Hotels Expands to Palm Springs, California

The new 168-room Thompson Palm Springs is set to open in late 2023, marking the brand’s second property in California.

Additionally, the Thompson Palm Springs will offer luxury amenities, including 2 swimming pools, indoor and outdoor lounges and bars, a signature restaurant, a spa, a fitness center, and locally-inspired guest experiences. There will even be 20,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space on the hotel’s ground floor, located along the iconic Palm Canyon Drive.

This retail space will also include HALL Napa Valley, a wine-tasting room featuring selections from the hotel’s owner’s family of wines including HALL, WALT, and BACA.

Finally, the hotel’s central location will offer guests easy access to Palm Springs’ arts and culture scene, as well as shopping and restaurants. Within the hotel, guests will be immersed in the surrounding landscape through walking paths, gardens, and lounge areas.
