T’way Airlines, a low-cost carrier you’ve probably never heard of before, will make its debut in North America this summer.

The South Korean carrier will launch nonstop flights connecting Seoul Incheon (ICN) with Vancouver (YVR) from July 12, 2025.

Let’s take a look at the details of this fun new route to Seoul from North America.

Fly T’Way to Seoul From Vancouver Starting in July

The South Korean low-cost carrier has officially filed a schedule for a 4x weekly service connecting Seoul Incheon with Vancouver International Airport (YVR) in Canada, according to Aeroroutes.

Despite being a low-cost airline, the Seoul-based carrier offers lie-flat business-class seats on the Airbus A330-300 that will operate the new route to Vancouver.

With just 12 seats in a 2-2-2 layout, the business class cabin is small and not all seats have direct aisle access.

T’way plans to operate its new service with the following schedule:

  • Depart Seoul (ICN) at 9:05 p.m. and arrive in Vancouver (YVR) at 3:25 p.m.
  • Depart Vancouver (YVR) at 5:25 p.m. and arrive Seoul (ICN) at 9:35 p.m. (+1)

According to Aeroroutes, T’way has filed both the fares and the schedule. However, after checking Google Flights, Skyscanner, and T’way’s website, we were unable to find any example fares to show you.

To give you an idea of the fares we might expect, we looked at what the airline offers on some of its long-haul routes to Europe.

Curiously, T’way’s economy fares to Barcelona and Paris were often on par with those offered by full-service carriers like Air France and Asiana.

However, T’way offers significantly lower business-class fares than its flagship carrier competitors — especially on its route from Seoul to Paris.

When tickets for the new route finally go on sale, we could expect similar savings compared to current nonstop business-class fares to South Korea.

Hot Tip:

Want to visit South Korea but don’t want to fly in economy? Thanks to points and miles, there are many ways to fly to Korea in a lie-flat bed without breaking the bank.

Final Thoughts

T’way Airlines joins Air Premia, Asiana, and Korean Air as the third South Korean airline to offer nonstop flights to North America. With Asiana and Korean Air set to finalize their merger soon (and therefore technically 1 less competitor), this is an optimum time for T’way to test the water with its first trans-Pacific route.
