With college football season fast approaching, United has scored a touchdown with the addition of 127 nonstop flights to enable more fans to watch their beloved team play.
This tops last year’s addition of 120 flights which helped more than 50,000 fans get to their games.
“We’re committed to providing a best-in-class travel experience for our customers, whether they’re traveling around the globe or flying to see their favorite college football team play,” said Patrick Quayle, Senior Vice President of Global Network Planning and Alliances. “We’re pleased to deliver a schedule this season that makes it easy for fans to come together and support their teams on the road.”
Here are the details you need to know.
Fly United to Your College Football Game This Season
Given the regional location of many of the games, the new routes will mean more United flights to smaller airports like Columbus, Ohio (CMH), Fayetteville, Arkansas (FAY), and South Bend, Indiana (SBN).
Better still, even if you’re not a football fan, you too could still make the most of more regional connectivity this fall.
In total, the Chicago-based airline’s additional 127 nonstop flights will facilitate travel to a total of 30 games.
You can buy your tickets now at United.com website or via the United mobile app.
To amp things up even further, United has partnered with none other than Caleb Williams — quarterback for the USC Trojans and 2023 Heisman Award Winner.
“There’s nothing like the energy you get from seeing the fans in stands and hearing them cheer you on during a big rivalry game, whether that’s at home or on the road,” said Williams. “I’m excited to collaborate with United Airlines to help spread the news of these special college football flights so fans from all over the country can experience that energy first-hand..”
To see if your team’s games will benefit from extra flights, here’s the complete list.
