Timeless fall traditions include apple cider, carving pumpkins, and United Airlines adding flights to help you follow your favorite college football team for marquee matchups.

This year, the airline is adding flights and offering nearly 3,500 extra seats to help fans get to 24 different games. This has clearly become an annual trend with United, and it’s using bigger planes this year to enable even more fans to hit the road with their team.

Tickets will go on sale tonight, so let’s check out the details to help you prepare.

United Airlines Adds Flights for 2025 College Football Games

Fans from the Big Ten, SEC, Mountain West, and Notre Dame will be excited about the ease of following their teams to big-time games this fall. United Airlines will crisscross the country to support key matchups for teams like Texas, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Alabama, and more.

This will be done with a combination of new routes — the majority — and also flying bigger planes on a handful of existing routes.

Final Thoughts

United is making this an annual tradition, adding flights to support key college football games each fall. This year, the airline is even boosting capacity on existing routes by flying bigger planes to support the number of fans who will want to follow a certain away game for their team.

This year’s college football season starts with a bang, with Texas visiting Ohio State in a rematch of last year’s semifinal, but there are huge matchups running from August 29 to November 21 that United will help you follow.

Go (insert your favorite team here)!
