United’s 5 Days of Deals for Cardholders

Those with United Airlines credit cards will have access to 5 days of unique promotions, changing each day from August 4 to August 8, 2025.

A new deal will launch daily, giving cardholders 24 hours to take advantage of exclusive promotions. What are they? Well, we don’t know for sure yet. However, we have some hints from United.

United used “Visit somewhere specific in the Pacific” in both the email and the promotion’s landing page linked in the email. The landing page also says cardholders can book their “next adventure starting at 30,000 miles one-way,” plus taxes and fees, of course. The landing page also says each day of the promotion will feature flights from the U.S. to “a different international destination.”

Hot Tip:

You’ll need a United Airlines credit card to be eligible for these deals. If you don’t have one, check out the current United credit card welcome offers to see what bonuses are available and compare the cards’ ongoing perks.

Where Can You Go With This Promotion?

Since United is teasing flights to the Pacific using MileagePlus miles, let’s look at where the carrier flies in the region. The short answer: lots of places.

United has a robust network in the Pacific, serving destinations from Japan down to Australia and New Zealand, as well as numerous islands from its base in Guam (GUM). The carrier also has the famous Island Hopper and has launched additional service in the Pacific this year to reach more tourist destinations.

It sounds like United will make some of these flights available for 30,000 miles per person.

Typically, a flight from San Francisco (SFO) to Sydney (SYD) costs 55,000 miles plus $34.40 in taxes and fees — that’s one-way, per person. If this route is available during next week’s deals, paying just 30,000 miles would provide a 45% discount, which is incredible.

Final Thoughts

United Airlines is teasing 5 days of deals exclusive to those with MileagePlus credit cards. From August 4 to August 8, 2025, cardholders will have a new deal daily.

Reading between the lines, it sounds like the airline will promote its expanded network in the Pacific and provide discounts when members redeem their miles. We’ll find out exactly what deals are available next week.
