Universal Orlando Resort is already a fan favorite and popular destination, and its appeal is set to soar even higher with the introduction of Universal Epic Universe in 2025.

Universal likes to keep new projects under wraps for as long as possible, but we finally have some details about its “most ambitious theme park yet,” featuring 5 immersive worlds, home to exciting attractions, shopping, dining, and more.

Fans of all ages will have something to look forward to at this epic theme park with features like The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, and more.

Let’s take a look at all of the details.

Universal Epic Universe Worlds

Universal Epic Universe will have 5 immersive worlds, but to reach 4 of them, guests will need to pass through Celestial Park first.

Celestial Park

Celestial Park will be the first area that guests encounter in the new Universal Epic Universe. It will also be the gateway to the other worlds.

Universal wants to “put the ‘park’ back in ‘theme park'” and will do that by featuring acres of rolling gardens, green spaces, waterfalls, and more in Celestial Park.

This lush area will give guests the option to relax, eat, shop, and even experience some attractions, including Starfall Racers, Constellation Carousel, and the wet-play area Astronomica.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic will be one of the 5 new worlds at Universal Epic Universe.

While details are scarce at the moment, Universal describes the new world as “a place where guests will discover a different era of the wizarding world in an all-new land that blends 1920s wizarding Paris from Warner Bros. Pictures’ Fantastic Beasts films with the iconic British Ministry of Magic from the Harry Potter series.”

Fans of those films are sure to be excited about that possibility.

SUPER NINTENDO WORLD

Mario fans young and old are looking forward to a SUPER NINTENDO WORLD at Universal Epic Universe in Orlando, Florida.

This will be an interactive area where guests can enter the “iconic green pipe and discover a new way to play as they step into the worlds of beloved characters like Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, and Donkey Kong.”

How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk

Have you ever wanted to fly on a dragon? Then you will probably enjoy How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk.

The popular How to Train Your Dragon film franchise will be brought to life, and guests can “soar with dragons in a colorful world filled with Viking adventures.”

Dark Universe

If all of those fun and bright colors are too much for you, you may prefer the final world, Dark Universe.

There are 3 new Universal hotels in the pipeline, including 1 inside Universal Epic Universe.

Universal Helios Grand Hotel

Scheduled to open sometime in 2025, Universal Helios Grand Hotel will have “dazzling views” of Universal Epic Universe.

This hotel will have a Mediterranean feel, featuring celestial patterns and constellations.

Universal Stella Nova Resort

The previously announced Universal Stella Nova Resort is scheduled to open on January 21, 2025, and plans to be “your new gateway to Universal Orlando Resort.”

This resort is “inspired by the infinite vastness of the unknown universe, where galaxies spiral ever outward, and unknown worlds revolve around unnamed stars.”

Universal Terra Luna Resort

Universal Terra Luna Resort is the sister property of Universal Stella Nova Resort, with a scheduled opening date of February 25, 2025.

This property is “inspired by the thrill of exploring the unknown, pushing the limits of discovery, and stepping into new landscapes.”

Final Thoughts

Finally, getting details of one of the most anticipated theme park openings in recent memory is always exciting. Universal will open up 5 new worlds and 3 new hotels in Orlando in 2025, and they all look very promising. Universal Epic Universe will bring some exciting new attractions and promises to raise the bar for theme park innovation.

We can’t wait to check it out in person next year!
