Virgin Atlantic is offering another sale through which where you can book an award flight and save 30% off the number of Virgin Points required on select routes through September 30, 2023.

There are a few restrictions to be aware of, which we’ll detail below. However, you’ll want to book soon, as this offer is only available for a limited time.

This latest Virgin Atlantic promotion is pretty straightforward and quite generous. The most important things you should note are the booking and travel windows and the routes that are eligible for the 30% discount.

This sale is applicable on all of Virgin Atlantic’s flights between the U.S. and the U.K., and all classes of service are eligible for the discount. If you want to take advantage of this offer, here’s what you need to know (full terms):

  • Book by July 24, 2023
  • Travel by September 30, 2023
  • This discount cannot be combined with any other Virgin Atlantic promotion
  • Valid only on Virgin Atlantic-marketed and -operated routes (partner airline redemptions do not qualify)
  • Taxes and fees still apply
  • One-way and round-trip tickets are both eligible for the discount

Depending on when you want to fly and how flexible you are, you can get a great discount with this Virgin Atlantic sale. This sale applies to all Virgin Atlantic flights between the U.S. and the U.K., which include:

Consider the flight example below: a one-way ticket from New York (JFK) to London (LHR) in Virgin’s economy cabin is discounted at only 14,000 points and $152.

And if you wanted to fly in Virgin’s premium economy cabin, you could book the same flight as above for just 19,200 points and (steep) taxes and fees totaling $427, one-way.

Finally, if you wanted to try Upper Class, Virgin’s business class product, you could book a one-way flight between San Francisco (SFO) and London (LHR) for just 54,200 points one-way, though taxes are very steep at $877.

How To Book

First off, you’ll want to check for award seats by heading over to the Virgin Atlantic website. Then, choose your destination and travel dates.

Then select “Show Price in Points” under the “Advanced Search” tab and select which cabin you’d like to search for.

Click the arrow and browse the reward seats available to you — at the 30% discounted points price.
