Update: As of June 2, 2020, the Hawaiian Airlines Shopping Mall has been discontinued.

Do you fly frequently with Hawaiian Airlines and love earning miles to put towards reward flights? Well, you can do this through your everyday online shopping with just a click of a button!

You can earn bonus miles through the Hawaiian miles Online Mall and also get access to exclusive offers. So start shopping now!

In this article, we’ll talk through how to make the most of the shopping portal so you won’t miss out on a single mile.

How to Log In

To access the shopping portal, you first need to log in to your account.

After clicking the “Sign In” button at the top right of the page, you’ll be directed from the shopping portal home page to the HawaiianMiles login page, as the same account details are used for both.

So if you’re already a HawaiianMiles member, simply input your account details to log in. If you’re not an existing member, then you will need to create an account by clicking ‘”Join now” to register your details.

Basics of Using the Shopping Portal

Once you have logged in to the HawaiianMiles Shopping Mall, you can search for retailers or browse by shopping category or bonus offers.

To find out more information on a specific retailer, just click one of the featured boxes with the retailer’s logo, and you’ll be directed to an information page.

This page will detail their current offers, including bonus point earnings and exclusive deals such as free shipping or discounted offers.

Click the “Shop Now” button — provided you’re logged into your account, you’ll be directed to the retailer’s website where you can continue browsing and purchasing items normally.

Hawaiian Airlines will automatically track your purchase through the use of cookies, so make sure these are enabled on the browser you’re using (otherwise your purchased won’t be registered).

Once you make a qualifying purchase, your miles will be credited to your HawaiianMiles account and this can take up to 4-6 weeks.

Hot Tip: Most of the bonus earnings are for online purchases only, but there are some retailers that promote offers when purchasing in-store using a registered credit card. You can view details by visiting the HawaiianMiles Marketplace.

For the HawaiianMiles Online Mall, you can search for a particular retailer or browse by category.

Once you’ve used the portal a few times, you may have some retailers that you shop at regularly — save these to “My Favorites” to access them quickly next time you visit.

Example Retailers

There are lots of retailers to choose from, from clothing to electronics and automotive to beauty brands.

As with other airlines’ shopping portals, HawaiianMiles doesn’t seem to offer any bonus promotions where more miles are offered for a limited time only. (To check the bonus offers in other shopping portals, use a site like CashBack Monitor.)

But if you fly frequently with Hawaiian Airlines, then you’ll still benefit from extra miles through their standard retailer offers.

Here are some example retailers you will find on the shopping portal:

  • Columbia: 4X miles per $1
  • Sears: 3.5X miles per $1
  • Staples: 2.5X miles per $1
  • Macy’s: 1.5X miles per $1
  • Acer: 2X miles per $1
  • …and much more!

MileFinder Plugin

Download the HawaiianMiles Plugin and don’t miss out on valuable miles! Image Credit: onlinemall.hawaiianairlines.com

If you’re a forgetful person who won’t remember to log in and click through from the HawaiianMiles Shopping portal, then you can download this browser plugin and it will do it for you.

It’s quick, easy, and free to install — and you’ll receive pop-up alerts when browsing the web to show websites that you can earn bonus points on. Any online purchasing will then be automatically added to your account. It’s that simple!

Bottom Line: The MileFinder Plugin is a handy tool to not miss out on those bonus miles from your everyday online shopping.

Final Thoughts

The HawaiianMiles Online Mall isn’t the most generous program we’ve seen for extra bonus promotions, but it’s still worth making the most of every extra mile — and there were far more discount and free shipping offers being promoted than we’ve seen on other shopping portals.

Every valuable point will count towards your miles balance, so you’ll soon be able to book those reward flights with Hawaiian Airlines!
