Food and Drink Options

Maple Leaf Lounge guests can access complimentary food and beverages at each lounge location. Food options include hot and cold plated food and snacks to go. Complimentary drinks include juice, soda, tea, coffee, and specialty coffees. Beer, wine, and spirits are also served at most locations.

Lounge Access and Eligibility

Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounges are available to several travelers with airline and alliance status and those with certain credit cards.

Travelers Flying in a Premium Cabin

Passengers traveling on Air Canada, Air Canada Express, Air Canada Rouge, and Air Canada codeshare flights or flights with a Star Alliance member airline in either business or first class can access an Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge.

Guests of any of the travelers above can purchase a pass for $59.

Travelers flying on a premium economy, Latitude, Comfort, or Flex fare can purchase access to the Maple Leaf Lounge during the booking process or at least 24 hours before travel. The price ranges from $49 to $79.

Premium Rouge Travelers

Air Canada passengers traveling in Premium Rouge may also enter Maple Leaf Lounges on domestic flights within Canada, to the U.S., and Sun destinations, including Mexico and the Caribbean.

Air Canada Aeroplan 50K, 75K, and Super Elite Members

Air Canada Aeroplan 50K, 75K, and Super Elite members get access to Maple Leaf Lounges when on flights operated by Air Canada, Air Canada Express, Air Canada Rouge, or a Star Alliance partner airline. This access is granted regardless of the class of service they are traveling in, although a valid same-day ticket or boarding pass must be presented.

You can also access domestic Maple Leaf Lounges in Canada and the U.S. when arriving on flights operated by Air Canada, Air Canada Express, or Air Canada Rouge.

These Aeroplan status holders also get a generous guest limit: a domestic partner, up to 5 dependent children under 25, and 1 guest for no additional charge. Additional guests can purchase a pass for $59.

Star Alliance Gold Members

Star Alliance Gold members have access to Maple Leaf Lounges when traveling on flights operated by Air Canada, Air Canada Express, Air Canada Rouge, or Air Canada codeshare flights in any class of service. Star Alliance Gold members traveling with a Star Alliance partner in any class of service are also eligible to enter Maple Leaf Lounges.

Qualifying members can bring 1 guest at no charge, and additional guests may enter for $59.

Non-Star Alliance Tier Members

Virgin Australia Velocity Frequent Flyers with Gold, Platinum, or Beyond VIP status can access any Maple Leaf Lounge location worldwide when departing on any flight operated by Air Canada, Air Canada Express, Air Canada Rouge, or Virgin Australia. Those traveling in Virgin Australia business class can access any Maple Leaf Lounge when departing on any flight operated by Virgin Australia.

Chase Sapphire Reserve® Cardholders

Chase Sapphire Reserve cardholders and their authorized users can access select Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge and Air Canada Café locations. They must present a same-day boarding pass for an Air Canada or Star Alliance member airline-operated flight.

Air Canada passengers can access other Star Alliance members’ lounges under certain conditions.

Star Alliance Gold customers with a valid boarding pass for a Star Alliance member flight that departs the same day or by 5 a.m. the next morning at the latest can access any member airline lounge. You must be able to show your status either by a Star Alliance Gold indicator on your boarding pass or by showing a valid Star Alliance Gold member card.

You can bring 1 guest traveling on the same Star Alliance flight into the lounge.
