The author stayed as an invited guest of Beach House Fort Lauderdale. All opinions are the author’s own, and Beach House Fort Lauderdale had no input in any part of this review.

I visited Beach House Fort Lauderdale, a Hilton property, in early February and enjoyed a great stay at this beachfront hotel that delivered luxury in an approachable way. It felt refined yet comfortable, with condo-style suites and a strong food-and-beverage program.

Here’s what stood out most about my visit, from the suite-style rooms with beachfront balcony views to friendly service from the front desk to room service.

Booking Beach House Fort Lauderdale

Room rates at Beach House Fort Lauderdale typically start around $250 per night, including the $54 resort fee, or about 49,000 Hilton Honors points for a sunset view studio with a king bed. I stayed in a 1-bedroom ocean view suite with a king bed (and sofa bed in the living room) that sleeps 4. It starts at about $330 or 183,000 points per night.

Rates vary widely by season, with peak winter pricing typically higher than late summer and early fall.

Daily resort charge benefits include:

  • Beach chairs and an umbrella
  • Bike rentals
  • Discounts at the spa and gift shop
  • Free kids dinners with adult entrees
  • Kids club access
  • Yoga and wellness classes
Hot Tip:

We recommend using a Hilton Honors credit card if you’re booking a room with cash.

1. It’s a Calm Home Base on the Beach

Beach House Fort Lauderdale offers a balance for a wide range of travelers as a quiet beach crash pad that still feels connected to the rest of Fort Lauderdale Beach.

It’s on a more residential stretch of the beachfront with a calmer atmosphere than the central party zone, but everything is within easy walking distance. If you want a livelier scene, you can head up to the rooftop bar or pop over to nearby resorts, such as W Fort Lauderdale, Conrad Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort, The Ritz-Carlton, Fort Lauderdale, or The Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort.

The suite-style rooms make it adaptable, with spaces that work well for couples looking for a low-key beach escape, families and friend groups, and longer stays with suite accommodations and kitchens. It’s also comfortable for events.

During my visit, the hotel was nearly full, with multiple conference groups, 3 weddings, and plenty of regular guests, but it didn’t feel overrun. Elevators arrived quickly, service was attentive, and there was more than enough space to relax at the pool and on the beach.

Hot Tip:

The resort is about 9 miles (approximately 15 minutes by car) from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL).

2. The Condo-Style Room Was Easy To Live In

Most rooms at Beach House Fort Lauderdale are suites, with kitchenettes, separate seating areas, and balconies. The Oceanfront 1 Bedroom 1 King Bed Suite I stayed in is the kind of room that’s easy to live in for a few days. It’s set up to hang out and enjoy the view, not just a place to sleep.

The full kitchen pushed this room into condo territory, with a full-size refrigerator, cooktop and oven, sink, and dishwasher. Bar seating and a small dining table made dining in easy. Even the small details, like a well-stocked espresso machine and small appliances in the cabinets, added to kitchen usability.

The bathrooms continued the residential feel. There was a small bathroom near the entrance with a shower, toilet, and vanity, and an expansive master bathroom with a jetted tub, shower, and tons of storage space. Bathroom amenities were thoughtful, with loofahs, dental and shaving kits, and a vanity kit with cotton swabs, hair elastics, and a nail file.

The indoor space was livable, but what I enjoyed the most about the suite was the generous balcony. My beachfront corner room had a double-sided balcony, with the beachfront side offering sweeping views of the beach, the resort next door, and the neighborhood beyond on the city side. I stayed right up to the moment of checkout to enjoy the ocean breeze and views.

The sunrise from the balcony and living room was a highlight. I left the curtain open at night so I could wake up to the colorful ocean view each morning.

3. There’s Great Access to a Stunning Beach

Beach access was effortless, with the hotel just across the street from the sand. It was a quick few steps in the crosswalk, and I had my feet in the sand. With loungers — including dining service — and a convenient location, early-morning beach walks and spontaneous afternoon swims were easily accessible.

4. The Pool Was Relaxing

The pool felt surprisingly calm, even though the resort was running at near-capacity during my stay. There was plenty of seating available, and the service was attentive. The atmosphere was social without being overwhelming. Music played throughout the day, blending with the beach vibe without turning the pool deck into a party scene.

The pool deck overlooked the beach for water views even when you’re not on the sand, and there was a mix of loungers, shaded seating, and cabanas. Small touches made the experience easy, with readily available towels, sunscreen, and water.

5. Wellness Fit Naturally

Wellness felt naturally built into the setting, with oceanfront sunrises, beach paths, and easy access to nearby green space. The resort offered morning yoga and Pilates sessions that began as the sun rose over the ocean. Even without a class, a morning walk on the beach felt restorative.

The hotel also offers cruiser bikes, and each day, guests can take bikes out for 2 hours. Hugh Taylor Birch State Park is just about a mile north along A1A. It’s an easy ride on shaded trails with views of mangroves and canals.

For more structured wellness, there’s a full-service spa and fitness center near the pool. The spa offers massages, facials, and other treatments. The fitness center was small but had useful equipment, including rowing machines, treadmills with views of the pool deck, weight machines, and free weights.

6. The Food Was Elevated But Not Overdone

Dining at Beach House Fort Lauderdale felt special without being intimidating. The menus balance creativity with comfort, and I was impressed by the tableside presentation elements with approachable flavors. Cocktails at the resort follow the same commitment to detail — no sugary resort drinks in disguise. Even the nonalcoholic options felt intentional.

Ilios is the anchor of the daytime dining experience, serving breakfast, poolside fare, and room service. It’s open Sunday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. The lobster latke Benedict was indulgent, but not heavy, and the fruit platter was bright and fresh. Poolside and in-room options had the same quality, with a generous lobster roll and a power bowl with mahi that delivered balanced flavors and solid portion sizes.

S3 (Sun, Surf, and Sand) is the hotel’s evening dining destination, with seafood, sushi, and steakhouse dishes. It offered indoor and beachside patio seating. It was upscale without being stiff, and suitable for date nights or a night out without leaving the property. Hours varied by day, but the restaurant typically opened at 11:30 a.m. (10 a.m. on weekends) and closed between 10 p.m. and midnight.

Nubé Rooftop delivered the resort’s nightlife scene, featuring social energy, fire tables, ocean views, and an exclusive vibe, with a dedicated rooftop elevator and check-in at the resort lobby. It’s open Tuesday through Friday from 2 p.m. to midnight and Saturday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to midnight. There’s a DJ from 6 p.m. to close every night.

Smoked ice cubes and intricate garnishes made the cocktails feel carefully prepared. Nonalcoholic drinks were substantial here, too, and I enjoyed a spritz that was light, refreshing, and just as attractive as the alcoholic drinks.

The lobby bar, Barto Lounge, was open daily from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. It’s a casual gathering spot for a signature drink and appetizers before dinner. It featured seasonal pairings Thursday through Sunday, with a menu that ranged from herbal cocktails and oysters on Thursdays to espresso drinks with pastries and desserts on Sundays.

Le Marché was the resort’s most casual dining spot, a market and coffee bar with quick bites including salads, pizzas, and sandwiches. Packaged snacks include chips, crackers, and candy, and cold options range from pastries to chia pudding, as well as a wide selection of water, sodas, beer, wine, and cocktails. There were a few tables for dining in, but snacks and prepared foods can be taken to go. It’s open Sunday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Fridays and Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

7. Service Feels Personal

The staff were consistently warm and knowledgeable throughout my stay. Service was polished and friendly, and consistent from the start, as I was welcomed with a tasty coconut mojito while the front desk accommodated an early check-in time.

At S3, our server enthusiastically recommended his favorite sushi roll — the neo Tokyo roll with 2 types of toro and Asian pear — and explained in detail what he loved about it.

I had a request for an off-menu drink at Le Marché, and the barista was happy to accommodate. I told her the kind of tea drink I was in the mood for, and she offered me a custom blend she makes for one of the other employees — hibiscus tea with mango and lemonade. It was perfectly refreshing, and I went back for it again.

Even the room service had the same supportive and friendly tone. I usually prefer digital ordering for convenience, but was pleasantly surprised by warm and genuine service when placing my order over the phone. I appreciated the personal touch.

Final Thoughts

Beach House Fort Lauderdale caters to travelers who want a space to settle in, with condo-style layouts, generous balconies, and a well-rounded dining program. It’s a quiet property but still connected to Fort Lauderdale nightlife and sights when you want to venture out. I’m planning a summer stay here with my family for more of the beachfront views, beautiful sunrises, and poolside dining.
