I stayed at the Me and All Hotel Berlin East Side during a short overnight trip to Germany’s capital. It was my first visit to a Me and All property, a World of Hyatt brand I wasn’t very familiar with. I booked it out of curiosity and to earn credit with this brand through Hyatt’s Brand Explorer benefit.

I loved my visit to this property. From its fun, communal vibes to its excellent location and great price, this is a property I would easily stay at again. However, those seeking posh amenities and butler service won’t find them here.

This property combines the best aspects of a hostel — including games, communal spaces, affordable pricing, and a great location — with the best elements of a hotel, such as private rooms.

Here are 5 things you should know about the Me and All Hotel Berlin East Side.

Booking Me and All Hotel Berlin East Side

During my November 2025 stay, Me and All Berlin East Side had standard rooms starting at $100 per night, with a final price of $106.87 after taxes.

As a Category 2 property in the World of Hyatt program, it’s possible to book this hotel using points. You’ll spend 6,500, 8,000, or 9,500 points per night, based on Hyatt’s off-peak to peak calendar.

Me and All counts as a separate hotel brand for the World of Hyatt Brand Explorer, helping you earn a Category 1-4 free night certificate for every 5 Hyatt brands you stay at.

Hot Tip:

Want to boost your points balance for future stays? There are many ways to earn World of Hyatt points, including from welcome bonus offers and daily spending on The World of Hyatt Credit Card and World of Hyatt Business Credit Card.

Location of Me and All Hotel Berlin East Side

Me and All Hotel Berlin East Side is located near Ostbahnhof (the East train station in English). It’s in the Friedrichshain neighborhood of former East Berlin, just a few steps from the Spree River.

After exiting the Ostbahnhof station and crossing through a small open area, the hotel is easily visible diagonally across the intersection.

5 Things To Know About Me and All Hotel Berlin East Side

1. The Bedroom Was Small but Fun

The hallway’s color palette evokes a bit of college dorm vibes, creating a playful environment right away.

My room: 641.

The standard rooms here are only 204 square feet. Even the deluxe rooms cover just 236 square feet, while the largest room (the 1 King Bed View Premium) offers 365 square feet of space.

All rooms have a king-size bed, which is the centerpiece of the room. The beds have 4 pillows offering varying levels of support.

Near the entrance to the room was a small table with a kettle, multioutlet charging point, and a box of drinking water. There was a TV across from the bed, several lamps, a digital thermostat, and a minifridge. Items in the fridge were complimentary.

The playful vibe continued with decorations that felt homey, including a comic book and witty phrases on the keycard.

The room’s lights were controlled by knobs that I had not seen in another hotel before.

These dial switches were somewhat unusual.

Given the hotel’s layout, views from the rooms offer either a street view or a view into a courtyard between buildings.

Not an exciting view.

The Bathroom

The hotel’s website doesn’t list any accessible rooms, though rooms with roll-in showers were available. The bathroom had a checkered tile pattern on the walls. Unfortunately, the counter space around the sink was nonexistent, and the shower products were merely resting on the shower controls, making them prone to falling onto the floor.

2. Public Spaces Were a Key Focus

The ground floor of the Me and All Hotel Berlin East Side had a very “hostel” vibe — fun public spaces designed to bring people together and provide a space to spend time outside of your room.

Entering the hotel’s main door, a central bar doubled as the reception desk, with numerous barstools positioned against it.

There were also groups of sofas nearby, set along the windows to the street.

The wall nearest the entrance had space for guests to write down something they wanted to accomplish in their lives, and chalk was available for adding their ideas.

This was a fun addition to the lobby.

One corner of the lobby featured a snack shop with items for sale, although free popcorn was available nearby in the evenings.

Past the far end of the bar was a mini basketball game, free to use.

This mini basketball game was popular.

The hotel also has another bar, open every evening, located at the bend after the lobby when heading toward the elevators and restaurant. While the lobby bar kept music volumes low, given its front desk duties, this bar had louder music and a more party-like vibe.

3. Coworking Spaces Were Intentional

As someone who works online and often combines work with travel, I appreciated this aspect of the hotel. At the far end of the lobby, there were multiple coworking spaces with various layouts: several tables with 4 chairs, each divided by a cubicle-like wall, rows of stools flanking a long table at the window, and a large, circular desk in a nook.

Plus, there were outlets near all of the workspaces for plugging in while working. These areas were very popular with guests.

4. Amenities Covered the Essentials

The hotel didn’t offer any extravagant perks, such as a spa or heated pool, but it provided the essentials you’d expect. There were umbrellas for rent near the entrance, and water bowls on the floor — a nice touch as a pet-friendly property.

The hotel also had reliable Wi-Fi, albeit at a speed of only 28 Mbps.

There were 2 elevators, found near the entrance to the restaurant at the rear of the ground floor. The elevators had a dive bar/club vibe with all the stickers on the walls.

There was also a gym, free for guests to use 24 hours a day. It had various cardio equipment, free weights, and several multifunction weight machines. There was even an open space with mats and equipment for activities such as yoga, stretching, pilates, or even burpees if that’s your thing.

The gym also had a water station and towels for guests.

5. The Restaurant Was Modest by Local Standards

The hotel’s sole restaurant sat at the far end of the ground floor, past the elevators. It offered breakfast from 6:30 to 10:30 a.m. on weekdays and from 7 a.m. to noon on weekends.

There were several seating options depending on whether guests wanted to dine alone or in a group.

The breakfast buffet featured a variety of items, including yogurts, fruits, cereals, salads, sausages, eggs, and more. These were on the center buffet in the middle of the restaurant. Another stand, along the wall, had a selection of juices and a coffee machine.

In a neighborhood full of top-notch restaurants and funky cafés, this on-site restaurant didn’t stand out. However, it wasn’t bad and was definitely convenient for guests.

Hot Tip:

No matter which Hyatt property you stay at or what rate you book, daily breakfast is a guaranteed perk for World of Hyatt Globalists — the hotel program’s top elite status tier.

Final Thoughts

This was my first stay at a Me and All property, and I definitely loved it. From the communal vibes and ease of getting work done to fun guest rooms, there was a lot to like about Me and All Berlin East Side. It doesn’t have any jaw-dropping amenities, but guests staying here likely aren’t looking for them.

Instead, you’ll find a fantastic location, fun atmosphere, and a great price.
