Accor is one of the largest chain hotel networks worldwide, with 40+ brands and 5,200 hotels in 110 countries. It has recently announced a partnership with global car rental company SIXT to offer its ALL – Accor Live Limitless members the opportunity to earn Reward points when renting with SIXT.

What Is Accor?

Accor hotels — including Banyan Tree, Fairmont, Pullman, Raffles, Sofitel, and Swissôtel — are mostly located throughout Europe, where the group has over 3,000 properties. While you might not have stayed in Accor hotel in the U.S. (where the brand only has about 125 hotels), it is a global powerhouse for hospitality throughout the rest of the world.

What Is SIXT?

When you typically think of rental cars, brands like Hertz, Avis, or National come to mind, but SIXT is actually the fourth biggest car rental provider in the U.S. SIXT has over 2,000 rental locations worldwide in ~100 different countries. The company is known for its orange booths and kiosks, and for a quite generous SIXT Advantage Circle loyalty program, with members experiencing worthwhile upgrades on many rentals.

If you’re an ALL – Accor Live Limitless loyalty program member, you’ll be able to earn Reward points for every SIXT car rental:

  • 200 points earned for a €50 (~$57) rental
  • 350 points earned for €100 (~$114) spent
  • 550 points earned for €150 (~$172) spent

Hot Tip: Accor also partners with Avis, Europcar, and Hertz. Learn more about earning points with partners in our guide to the best ways to earn ALL – Accor Live Limitless Reward points.

ALL – Accor Live Limitless is unique in that there are no award charts or redemptions that you need to keep track of. As long as you have 2,000 points to spend (the minimum redemption), Accor will wipe €40 (~$46) from your hotel bill. You can use these points to cover the room rate itself, hotel incidentals, on-site food and beverage, and more. While it’s nice to have an award chart where you can aspire to stay in certain luxury properties, having the ability to apply points to charges on your bill is helpful, and given the size of Accor’s footprint in Europe, nothing to shake a stick at.

Final Thoughts

While you should not go out of your way to rent with SIXT to earn ALL Reward points, if you’re an Accor loyalist, or have a stay in Europe where Accor is the dominant chain, it’s certainly with considering renting your car from SIXT where you’ll be able to accumulate your ALL Reward points faster.
