Greek carrier Aegean Airlines is getting in on the Black Friday fun with a sale that’s offering discounts of up to 70% off flights from mid-January through October 2023.
If Greece is in your travel plans for next year, you’ll want to take a serious look at this sale. If it works for you, be sure to book quickly, as it ends at 11:59 p.m. Greek time, tonight, November 25, 2022.
Here’s what you should know about Aegean’s Black Friday sale.
Save Up to 70% on Aegean Flights
Aegean’s Black Friday sale is valid for all nonstop flights and connecting itineraries across its network — but you must book within the next few hours to be eligible to receive the discount. You can browse airfare and book your flights on this page.
Here are some other details you should be aware of:
- The offer is valid for bookings made on November 25, 2022.
- The offer is valid for travel from January 16 to October 28, 2023.
- The discount is valid for flights operated by Aegean and Olympic Air only.
- Receive a 70% discount on flights between January 16 and February 22, 2023.
- Receive a 40% discount on flights between March 1 and June 30, 2023.
- Receive a 30% discount on flights between February 23 and February 28, 2023, and between July 1 and October 28, 2023.
- The discount applies to one-way and round-trip economy flights.
- The discount does not apply to taxes.
Is It Worth It?
Aegean Airlines doesn’t operate intercontinental flights, so if you’re visiting Europe from the U.S., it would be a great option for getting yourself to or from Greece from other points across the continent or hopping around within Greece.
That said, there are some pretty sweet deals to be had. Take, for example, this flight from London Gatwick (LGW) to Athens (ATH) in February 2023. Typically, the flight would cost about $225 one-way, but with the discount, you’ll pay just $97!
The carrier maintains a fairly robust network across Europe, so it can be an effective way to get to Greece from elsewhere in Europe or vice versa.

Final Thoughts
Aegean Airlines is offering a great Black Friday sale, but you’ll need to move quickly if you want to score up to 70% off on your airfare.
If your 2023 travel plans include Greece, don’t hesitate to get in on the Black Friday action and get your trip planning off to a deeply discounted start!
