Update:The offer mentioned below has expired and is no longer available.

Check your accounts for a new round of Chase Offers, with up to 15% back on Alaska Airlines purchases.

Let’s take a look at the offer and how to use it!

Chase Offer for up to 15% Back at Alaska Airlines

There are 3 versions of a new Chase Offer that you might be targeted for to save some extra cash on your next purchase with Alaska Airlines, depending on what you’re targeted for:

  • Earn 5% back on your Alaska Airlines airfare purchase when you spend $50 or more, with a $22.50 back maximum.
  • Earn 10% back on your Alaska Airlines airfare purchase when you spend $50 or more, with a $45.00 back maximum.
  • Earn 15% back on your Alaska Airlines airfare purchase when you spend $50 or more, with a $67.50 back maximum.

There are a few things to know about the offer before making your purchase.

The deal expires on February 15, 2024, so you must make your purchase on or before that date. This offer is not valid on ancillary purchases such as Mileage Plan miles, gift cards, the Alaska Lounge, or inflight purchases.

If you aren’t familiar with Chase Offers, these are deals and discounts offered by Chase through the Chase website or Chase mobile app. You don’t need to register or apply for anything — all you have to do is activate the offer and use your Chase credit card to pay at the selected location.

Unlike the well-known Amex Offers program, Chase Offers typically offer cash back (statement credits) instead of Ultimate Rewards points. These offers aren’t as well known as Amex Offers, but they’ll surely add some value to the Chase credit cards in your wallet.

You can find Chase Offers on virtually every Chase card, such as the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card or Chase Sapphire Reserve®, and even on Chase debit cards.

Is It Worth It?

If you plan to fly Alaska Airlines soon, this deal is certainly worth it. Cards like the Chase Sapphire Reserve card or Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card earn 3x points per $1 spent on any travel purchases, while the Chase Sapphire Preferred card earns 2x points per $1 spent on travel.

So if you booked a round-trip flight from, say, Seattle (SEA) to Hawaii that cost $450 total, and you were targeted for the 15% offer, you’d receive the full $67.50 rebate, which would knock your total price to $382.50. And if this Chase Offer were on a card like the Chase Sapphire Reserve card, you’d also earn 1,350 Ultimate Rewards points for the purchase.

Keep in mind that all cash bookings will also earn valuable Mileage Plan miles.

Final Thoughts

These new Chase Offers can earn you up to 15% back on Alaska Airlines purchases with a maximum savings of $67.50. This offer appears to be targeted (I didn’t see it on any of my Chase cards), so make sure to check across all of your Chase credit cards to see if you got the deal!
