Update:The offer mentioned below has expired and is no longer available.

The horrific wildfires on the island of Maui have devasted us all, but tourism is a lifeline to this island, and bringing back guests to the island’s many hotels and cultural hotspots is going to be essential for the rebuilding process. Alaska Airlines is running a limited-time sale where you can save 40% on flights to Maui in an effort to help bring tourism back to the island.

The only catch is that this sale ends soon — so don’t miss out!

Here’s everything you need to know.

Book Flights at 40% Off

The sale is going on right now and applies to travel through October 18, 2023. However, you must book your tickets by 11:59 p.m. PT on September 1, 2023. To take advantage of this sale, use code MAUI40 on the Alaska Airlines website.

Consider booking your flight with an Alaska Airlines co-branded credit card to earn 3x miles on your purchase. Additional benefits of an Alaska Airlines credit card include an annual companion pass and 20% off inflight purchases.

Alaska operates a number of flights to Maui, mostly from hubs in Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, and Los Angeles.

You can score flights at 40% off with this sale:

This sale is valid for all economy class tickets, so you’ll want to hunt around the airline’s calendar to see what dates offer the cheapest fares, if you’re flexible. MileagePlan tickets are not eligible under this sale.

Hot Tip:

While the western portion of the island is not open to tourism, the eastern side, featuring many prominent resorts, is open and is where you’ll likely want to visit as the Lahaina area rebuilds.

Final Thoughts

If you’ve got flexible travel plans and want to visit the lush island of Maui, now could be your chance with a great fare sale, all while supporting the local economy. Don’t wait to book, though, as this sale ends at midnight!
