If you’re a frequent Amazon shopper, check your American Express accounts to see if you were targeted for this latest Amex Offer.

You could receive a $5 statement credit for spending $30 or more at Amazon, which could be an easy way to save with relatively no effort.

Here are the details.

Amex Offer Details

This offer is fairly straightforward: when you spend $30 or more at Amazon, you will get a $5 statement credit. This offer runs through November 13, 2023.

This promotion is available through the Amex Offers program. To see if you’re eligible, simply log into your Amex online account or mobile app (iOS, Android), click on the Amex Offers tab, and then look through the list of offers to see if you see this specific one. If you are targeted, make sure to click Add to Card to enroll.

Remember, not all users will be targeted. If you have multiple cards, you may want to see if the offer is on any other cards.

For this offer, there are several things you need to be aware of:

  • This offer expires on November 13, 2023. To play it safe, you should make your purchases several days before the expiration date so it has a chance to settle and post.
  • The offer is only available online, and can’t be used in any of Amazon’s physical stores. To ensure your Amex card gets charged correctly, you might want to save it in your Amazon profile.
  • Like most Amex Offers, you can purchase several things over different transactions to exceed the $30 total spent.
  • Keep in mind that returns can void your statement credit, so if you’re someone who tends to return Amazon purchases, you may want to purchase well over $30 to account for any refunds.
Hot Tip:

This offer may be reusable up to 3 times, depending on how you were targeted. Be sure to check the terms and conditions of the offer to see what your savings could be.

Final Thoughts

Be sure to check all of your American Express cards to see if you’re eligible to earn a $5 statement credit for spending $30 or more at Amazon. This Amex Offer can make your everyday shopping that much more rewarding!
