Update: The offer mentioned below has expired and is no longer available.

If you have an American Express card (or multiple cards), you’re going to want to check your account to see if you’ve been targeted for this latest Amex Offer to get $300 back when you spend $1,500 or more with Singapore Airlines.

Here’s a look at the details of this new offer!

Offer Details

For those who aren’t familiar with Amex Offers, they’re promotions designed to entice you to use your card. You’re incentivized with bonuses, discounts, or elevated point earnings, among other things.

If you have one or more cards with Amex, you’ll want to check your accounts regularly — the issuer doesn’t announce when it launches these offers, but rather they simply show up in your account.

To find them online, log into your American Express account. Once loaded, you can scroll down to the bottom of the page. Your Amex Offers will appear here. They’re also available via the Amex mobile app (iOS, Android).

This specific offer will award you cash-back in the form of a statement credit once you meet the spending threshold with Singapore Airlines.

Here are some more details you should be aware of:

  • Valid through December 31, 2022
  • Purchase requirements can be met in 1 or more transactions
  • Must be booked directly with Singapore Airlines, either via its website, its app (iOS, Android), or by phone
  • Flight must originate in the U.S.
  • Airfare must be charged in U.S. dollars
  • Valid purchases include airfare, fare upgrades, seat selection, and checked bag fees

Is It Worth It?

Singapore Airlines is a fantastic airline, whether you’re flying in economy, premium economy, or business class. Of course, we’d all prefer to fly in business class, especially on long flights to Singapore. However, those tickets don’t come cheap, so if you’re looking to take advantage of this offer you may want to consider booking an economy or premium economy ticket.

A quick look at Google Flights shows that you can fly from Houston (IAH) to Singapore (SIN) in premium economy for $1,907 round-trip — not a bad price for all that flying!

But it gets even better with this Amex Offer — once you receive the $300 back as a statement credit, your out-of-pocket cost drops to just $1,607 round-trip for a premium economy flight.

Final Thoughts

Amex Offers can provide serious value for customers. If you’re in the market for a Singapore Airlines flight, check your account(s) to see if you’ve received the offer to save $300 off your next purchase of at least $1,500.
