Update:The offer mentioned below has expired and is no longer available.

American Express has released 2 new Amex Offers for several ski resorts, allowing you to save on winter activities over the next few months. You may be targeted for 1 or both offers (or none at all), so be sure to check all of your American Express cards to see if you’ve got either offer.

Adding Amex Offers to Your Card

To see what offers are available to you, proceed to the American Express website or app, and then click Amex Offers & Benefits. From there, you’ll see a listing of offers that have been targeted to you, and if you have multiple Amex cards, you’ll, unfortunately, need to scroll through each one manually to see what is available to you. When you want to enroll in an offer, make sure to click Add to Card.

Save at Vail Resorts

When you spend $500 or more in a single transaction at Vail, Beaver Creek, Park City, Breckenridge, Whistler, and Heavenly, you’ll receive a $100 statement credit. Your purchase can either be a room rate or lift tickets, but everything has to be done in 1 swipe. You can purchase your tickets online or over the phone, and the offer expires on March 5, 2023.

Unfortunately, this offer is not valid at these resorts: Afton Alps, Alpine Valley, Attitash, Big Boulder, Boston Mills, Brandywine, Crested Butte, Crotched, Falls Creek, Hidden Valley, Hotham, Hunter, Jack Frost, Keystone, Kirkwood, Liberty, Mad River Mountain, Mount Brighton, Mount Snow, Mount Sunapee, Northstar, Okemo, Paoli Peaks, Perisher, Roundtop, Snow Creek, Stevens Pass, Stowe, Whitetail, Wildcat, and Wilmot resorts.

Hot Tip: Be careful with this offer, as it specifically calls out that additional charges to the room do not count towards this offer, so make sure you’re using it either on the room rate or lift tickets, but not any additional tickets.

Save at Big Sky Resort

If you plan on visiting the Big Sky Resort in Montana, you can get some significant savings. When you spend $500 or more in a single transaction, either on hotel or lift tickets, you can get $125 back as a statement credit. This offer is good until March 19, 2023.

Final Thoughts

Ski tickets and room rates around winter resorts can be incredibly expensive, especially in the January and February timeframe. Be sure to check your Amex cards to see if you’ve got one of these offers so that you can save some money on your winter vacation.
