Hyatt has recently opened its first and largest Andaz hotel in Macau, continuing the brand’s growth.

Let’s take a look at all the details.

Andaz Macau Has More Than 700 Rooms

The Andaz Macau provides a variety of accommodations with 700 guestrooms and suites. These range from comfortable 375-square-foot guestrooms to luxurious 730-square-foot suites. Rooms draw inspiration from the surrounding area, showcasing stunning forest greens and earthy orange hues that mirror the lush green landscapes of the neighborhood.

The hotel offers several onsite food and beverage options, including 2 dining establishments and a hotel bar. One of the dining options is the Andaz Kitchen, a vibrant all-day-dining neighborhood destination that serves a delightful variety of Chinese, Portuguese, and Western dishes.

Amenities include a heated 62-foot swimming pool, a 24-hour fitness center, and complimentary access to the Grand Resort Deck at Galaxy Macau, known as the world’s leading Skytop oasis. Additionally, the Andaz brand offers a complimentary minibar as a standard amenity in all rooms.

Stephen Ho, President of Growth and Operations for Asia Pacific at Hyatt, made a statement regarding the largest property of the Andaz brand worldwide:

“We are excited about collaborating with Galaxy Entertainment Group and introducing the Andaz brand to Macau,” said Ho. “This is a momentous occasion for us, and we believe our immersive and inspiring hotel experience will appeal to locals and tourists alike.”

If you’re not very familiar with the Andaz brand, it’s one of Hyatt’s premium brands, and it has a great reputation among travelers. Andaz is dedicated to incorporating the essence of local culture into its properties, achieved through their distinctive style, luxurious amenities, and inviting social spaces.

The Andaz Macau is the first of its kind in the city, and it is the fifth Andaz hotel in the Greater China Area. The other Andaz hotels in the area include Andaz Shenzhen BayAndaz Xiantiandi, Shanghai, and Andaz Xiamen.

How To Book

The Andaz Macau is a newly opened hotel that is now part of the World of Hyatt loyalty program. The hotel is categorized as a Category 5 property, which means that rates for off-peak dates begin at 17,000 points per night.

If you have a low balance of World of Hyatt points, you may want to consider applying for either The World of Hyatt Credit Card or World of Hyatt Business Credit Card. These cards provide generous welcome offers and additional points for purchases made in specific spending categories.

As an alternative, you can also transfer points from Chase Ultimate Rewards or Bilt Rewards at a 1:1 ratio to Hyatt and book a stay at the Andaz Macau.

Bottom Line:

The first Andaz hotel in Macau, Andaz Macau, has recently opened. It is also the largest Andaz hotel in the brand’s portfolio. The property is classified as a Category 5 hotel, which means free night awards start at 17,000 points per night for a standard room.
