In August, Alaska Airlines unveiled its most premium travel credit card yet as part of its newly rebranded Atmos Rewards program. The Atmos™ Rewards Summit Visa Infinite® card, issued by Bank of America, comes loaded with benefits for frequent travelers.

The launch of Alaska’s first premium airline card generated so much buzz that, for a limited time in late 2024, loyalty members could score a 5,000-mile bonus if they preregistered to express their interest. Upon release, the card debuted with a 100,000-point welcome offer and a 25,000-point Global Companion Award after spending $6,000 within the first 90 days. Those who preregistered received an extra 5,000 bonus points on top of that.

Now, that awesome 105,000-mileage bonus offer opportunity is back for targeted applicants. Here’s what you need to know about this limited-time welcome offer and the card’s offerings.

Atmos Rewards Summit Card Welcome Offer

The Atmos Rewards Summit card has a $395 annual fee — much more reasonable than luxury credit cards, which nowadays have annual fees ranging from $500 to nearly $1,000.

Targeted applicants have been notified via email of the opportunity to earn the higher bonus offer. Look out for an email headline from Atmos Rewards that reads “Earn 105,000 bonus points + 25,000-point Global Companion Award.”

For the same spend as the publicly available welcome bonus offer, you can score an additional 5,000 bonus points. However, it’s a limited-time welcome offer, so we don’t know when it will go away.

The 25,000-point Global Companion Award portion of the bonus offer allows you to score up to 25,000 points off an award ticket rate for your companion booked on the same reservation. This allows you to score tangible savings off award flights booked through the Atmos Rewards program. They’re valid for 12 months, though, so you’ll want to make sure you utilize this benefit before it expires.

Hot Tip:

If you can’t justify paying hundreds of dollars for an annual fee, the new Atmos™ Rewards Ascent Visa Signature® card and the Atmos™ Rewards Visa® Business Card for small business owners are solid Atmos Rewards card options.

Atmos Rewards Summit Card Benefits

Even if you don’t fly Alaska Airlines (or Hawaiian Airlines) very often, the rebranded Atmos Rewards program ensures your points are valuable on a variety of partner airlines. This premium card offers a flexible range of benefits to appeal to many travelers — here are some notable ones:

  • 3x points on eligible dining, foreign transaction, and Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines purchases
  • 1 status point per $2 spent
  • 10,000 status points awarded annually beginning with your first card anniversary
  • 8 Alaska Lounge passes and 8 Wi-Fi passes every year (earn twice of each pass per quarter)
  • Same-day confirmed change fee waiver for Alaska flights, excluding Saver fares
  • Waived partner award booking fees
  • Free checked bag and preferred boarding for you and up to 6 guests on the same reservation when booking your flight with your card
  • Earn a 25,000-point Global Companion Award each cardmember anniversary and a 100,000-point Global Companion Award by spending $60,000 or more in a card anniversary year
