The low-cost Avelo Airlines has announced a new route between Central Florida and Southern Connecticut.

Here’s what you need to know about the new route.

First Airline to Serve Lakeland International Airport in Over a Decade

Avelo will offer 2x weekly flights between Lakeland International Airport (LAL) and Tweed-New Haven Airport (HVN) on Thursdays and Sundays beginning June 13, 2024.

The airline will fly its Boeing Next-Generation 737 jet on the route.
