Update:

The offer mentioned below has expired and is no longer available.

Ultra-low-cost Avelo Airlines is offering a $35 discount on round-trip flights. That sounds great, right? Unfortunately, you only have until 11:59 p.m. PT on May 6, 2025, to score the discount.

Let’s take a look at the details of the sale so you can get a jump on your reservations.

Save $35 off Avelo Flights This Year

To get a hefty discount on your next Avelo flight, use the promo code SOAR35. The limited-time promotion is only valid until 11:59 p.m. PT on May 6, so you’ll have to act fast if you want to take advantage of the discount.

You must book round-trip tickets to use this promotional offer. The discount has a modest travel window: Fly between May 7 and November 18, 2025. Luckily, there aren’t any blackout periods with this offer.

Here’s an example of the discounted price of a round-trip flight from New Haven (HVN) to Fort Lauderdale (FLL) for mid-July.

You’ll notice a discount of $35 off a ticket, which practically offsets the cost of taxes and fees.

What It’s Like Flying With Avelo

Flying with Avelo doesn’t include any frills, and there’s no business class. However, the seats are in good condition, and the airline can get you from A to B without hassle.

As a low-cost carrier, you’ll pay for any extras you want. You’ll also need to bring your own food and drinks, as the airline doesn’t provide any. If you’re buying preferred seats or early boarding, make sure to use a credit card that rewards you for airfare purchases.

The airline has a growing network around the U.S., mostly serving “second cities” outside major airports that charge more for airlines to use them. However, the airline has dropped flights on Tuesdays this summer, so take that into consideration as you plan your trip.

Hot Tip:

While Avelo charges extra for carry-on bags and seat assignments, the airline does not charge cancellation or change fees. Before your flight, make sure to check out our guide to Avelo’s baggage policy.

Final Thoughts

Avelo has launched a flash sale with savings of $35 off base fares. The taxes and fees aren’t discounted, and you’ll need to buy a round-trip fare to get the discount. The good thing about this sale is that it has a long travel window, ending on November 18, 2025. Just remember to use the discount code SOAR35.

If you’re interested in this offer, it’s only available through May 6, 2025.
