You can fly Fiji Airways business class, which can be hard to come by, using your Alaska Airlines or American Airlines miles.

The fares when booking via Alaska are slightly cheaper, but no matter which program you book with, it will be better than paying the average cash price if $2,500+ for the same seats.

Booking via Alaska Airlines’ Mileage Plan or American Airlines AAdvantage will be your only options for booking these awards.

If you want to use Alaska Airlines miles, you can transfer them from Bilt Rewards at a 1:1 ratio. Otherwise, you can still transfer your American Express Membership Rewards to Hawaiian Airlines HawaiianMiles and then convert those miles to Alaska miles, but that loophole is closing on June 30.

American Airlines doesn’t have any transfer partners at the moment. So, if you need to earn some AAdvantage miles, your best bet will be by opening a co-branded credit card or shopping using Simply Miles.
