Who wouldn’t love to jet off in business class to Fiji or even continue down to Australia and New Zealand? We’ve found great award space to Oceania on Fiji Airways. Whether you’re looking to spend some time on a beach vacation in the South Pacific or explore hotspots down under, this is one deal you don’t want to miss.

Let’s take a look.

Award Alert — Details

These awards are available via Qantas Frequent Flyer, with flights operated by Fiji Airways. Fiji Airways tends to be very stingy when it comes to releasing business-class award space to partners, which is why we ran to tell you when this award space opened up.

  • Class: Business
  • Routes: Los Angeles (LAX), San Francisco (SFO), and Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) to Fiji (NAN), Auckland (AKL), and Sydney (SYD)
  • Dates: February 2025 through February 2026
  • Rates: As low as 82,000 points one-way, plus $28.50 in taxes and fees

The best availability comes from dates far in advance, such as January and February 2026.

Qantas Frequent Flyer doesn’t allow free stopovers on partner award tickets, so if you want to fly to Australia or New Zealand but stop in Fiji for a few days en route, you’ll need to book this as a multi-city award, which will increase the number of points you need.

To find these flights, you can compare numerous dates and routes at once using a tool like Seats.aero. Once you find something you like, you can click on that award to go directly to Qantas’ website to book — or head there yourself when you know what’s available.

Best Ways To Book

You will want to book this flight using your Qantas points, though American’s AAdvantage program and Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan are showing availability on a handful of dates — though not many. If you can find availability, you’ll pay 75,000 Alaska miles or 80,000 AA miles from the West Coast to Fiji.

If you want to continue to Australia or New Zealand with Fiji Airways, you’ll pay 94,900 Qantas points per person.

To boost your Qantas Frequent Flyer balance, you can transfer American Express Membership Rewards, Capital One Rewards, and Citi ThankYou Rewards at a 1:1 ratio. You also can transfer from Marriott Bonvoy (3:1 transfers) and Brex Rewards (3:2 transfers).

Final Thoughts

We’re hyped to bring you this rare award alert for Fiji Airways flights in business class. Although it’ll cost you 82,000 points per person to book, you can head to the beautiful island of Fiji in comfort and style — something we think you’ll enjoy.
