Update:

The offer mentioned below has expired and is no longer available.

Business class deals pop up every so often — and we’ve found some great award availability to and from Amsterdam this winter.

These lie-flat seats are bookable with miles on JetBlue’s nonstop routes between New York and  Amsterdam.

Award Deal — The Details

Qatar Airways Privilege Club, Qatar Airways’ loyalty program, can get you to Europe in style this winter if you redeem Avios points to fly in JetBlue’s Mint business class to Amsterdam.

We found plentiful award availability on flights between New York (JFK) and Amsterdam (AMS) in February, with some flights having up to 8 seats. That means you can fly with family or a group of friends. In March, we found fewer dates with that much availability.

Privilege Club charges 78,000 Avios each way, plus taxes and fees of $10.10 from the U.S. or $88 from Europe.

  • Class: Business
  • Route: New York (JFK) to Amsterdam (AMS)
  • Cost: 78,000 points plus $10.10 in taxes and fees
  • Travel Dates: February and March 2025
  • Award Seats: Up to 8 passengers per route

While 78,000 points is not necessarily the best deal in points to Europe — you can find, for example, seats in business class to Paris or Amsterdam for 60,000 points using the Air France-KLM Flying Blue program — this deal stands out due to the high number of seats available.

How To Book

Head to QatarAirways.com or use the Qatar Airways app (iOS, Android) to search. You have to be logged in to your account to search for award seats.

As an example, we searched for an award booking for 4 people on several dates in February, and the booking engine returned availability for all 4.

The price reflected below, 312,000 Avios plus $40.40 in taxes and fees, is exactly the quadruple of 78,000 Avios and $10.10 for a single ticket. On several dates, we found as many as 8 seats available with points.

The Qatar Airways award calendar appeared to be unavailable, so you could only search for individual dates.

To boost your balance of Qatar Airways Avios, you can transfer points at a 1:1 ratio from Citi ThankYou Rewards and Marriott Bonvoy.

You can also easily transfer Avios to Qatar Airways Privilege Club from any Avios-earning loyalty program, such as British Airways Executive Club, Iberia Plus, or Aer Lingus AerClub (check out our transfer partner tool for details on these partners).

Hot Tip:

Subscribe to our newsletter so you don’t miss out on the next business class award deal!

Not only can you take advantage of this points deal, but you’ll likely score a bargain on hotels and other activities by visiting this time of year. Winter is typically low season in Amsterdam and other European cities.

Final Thoughts

With up to 8 business class seats available, now is a good time to fly to Amsterdam (or somewhere further afield in Europe) with a group of friends or family members by booking award seats through Qatar Airways Privilege Club.
