Did you ever fantasize about staying in Barbie’s Dream House?

Well, you can get close, as one hotel in Bogota, Colombia is offering a Barbie Suite for the next year. Here’s what you need to know.

Suite Available Through July 2024

The Hilton Bogota Corferias has announced an exciting feature: the launch of a limited-time Barbie-themed suite.

This 552-square-foot, 1-bedroom suite can accommodate 4 guests and features views of Northern Bogota from the 13th floor of the hotel.

True to the “Barbie” brand, the suite is decorated in bright pink colors, neon lighting, and inspirational signage such as “Together We Shine” and “Strong Girls Make Waves.”

This activation comes just a few days before the release of the highly-anticipated “Barbie” movie, which stars actors Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling as Barbie and Ken.

Amenities include a Barbie-themed robe, slippers, towels, a large dressing mirror, space for pets, an amenity kit, a Barbie doll, a tutu, and pink glasses.

The suite will be available through July 2024.

Hilton worked with toy manufacturer Mattel to pull off the collaboration.

“Our design for this suite is inspired by the fans who grew up with the iconic Barbie doll. From the moment they arrive at the hotel, we want them to feel transported into a Barbie utopia. In this suite, every corner is tailored to create a sense of childhood nostalgia,” said John Freudenthaler, General Manager at the Hilton Bogota Corferias.

How To Book the Barbie Suite at Hilton Bogota Corferias

Guests can book directly through the hotel website, email corferias.reservations@hilton.com, or call +57 601 4434400.

For what is expected to be a popular suite, rates are pretty affordable. A 1-night reservation in the Barbie-themed suite starts at just $229 per night and must be booked 24 hours in advance.

For instance, a 1-night stay in mid-August will cost $289 — not bad for such a unique room that’s sure to be very popular.

And you might be wondering whether you can redeem Hilton Honors points for a stay. Luckily, you can — and rates start at 118,000 points per night, as the suite is considered a premium room.

The Hilton Honors program uses variable award pricing, which can result in cheaper or more expensive rates depending on when you travel.

However, it’s fairly easy to earn Hilton Honors points. Hilton offers several co-branded credit cards, all of which feature sizable welcome bonuses. And, members can transfer points from American Express, ride with Lyft, or dine out.

Final Thoughts

This is a really interesting collaboration between Hilton and Mattel, but from a brand perspective, it shows that Hilton has a pulse on the niche experiences travelers are looking for. If you’re a Barbie fan, you’re not going to want to miss this suite that you can book with cash or points!
