Since its inception, Bilt Rewards has been making waves in the travel rewards industry thanks to its innovative program that allows members to make rent payments with their Bilt World Elite Mastercard® Credit Card with no additional transaction fee — and earn points in the process.

The program has been steadily adding transfer partners to its portfolio, with each one increasing the value of each Bilt Rewards point earned.

Now, the program is announcing its latest transfer partner: Marriott Bonvoy. Here’s what you need to know about this addition.

Marriott Bonvoy Is Bilt’s Newest Transfer Partner

Bilt and Marriott’s partnership is already live, and if you link your Bilt Rewards and Marriott Bonvoy accounts within the Bilt Rewards mobile app, you’ll earn 100 bonus Bilt points.

Bilt Rewards points will transfer to Marriott Bonvoy at a 1:1 ratio. For every 20,000 Bilt points transferred, members will receive a bonus of 5,000 Marriott Bonvoy points, yielding a total of 25,000 Marriott Bonvoy points.

Bilt says most transfers will happen instantly, but they can take up to 48 hours to complete. Transfers can be completed directly from the Bilt Rewards mobile app.

Earning and Redeeming Bilt Rewards Points

Earning Bilt Rewards points is achieved primarily by spending on the Bilt card. You’ll earn points according to the following structure:

  • Earn 3x points per dollar spent on dining, including restaurants or takeout
  • Earn 2x points per dollar spent on travel purchases, specifically on tickets purchased directly with an airline, hotel stays booked directly, and car rentals
  • Earn 1x point per dollar spent on rent payments, up to a maximum of $100,000 per year, for a maximum total of 100,000 Bilt Rewards points annually for money you need to spend anyway

When it comes time to redeem Bilt Rewards points, there are plenty of options available. One very useful transfer partner is World of Hyatt.

Final Thoughts

Bilt Rewards continues to improve its offering with the addition of yet another transfer partner, Marriott Bonvoy. With many transfer partners, Bilt Rewards points are becoming some of the very best transferrable points you can earn.

We can’t wait to see what else Bilt Rewards has up its sleeve!
