There’s nothing better (at least for the team here at Upgraded Points) than saving money on travel — especially when it’s really easy. Right now, there’s an opportunity to earn $15 in bonus OneKeyCash after you download the Hotels.com app.

That’s right — $15 for simply downloading an app! Here’s what you need to know.

Download the Hotels.com App and Get $15 in OneKeyCash

One Key Rewards was launched in 2023 as the loyalty program for a number of platforms, including Expedia, Hotels.com, and Vrbo. It’s a single platform that allows users to earn and use rewards across all 3 brands.

OneKeyCash is the currency of this program. Right now, you can earn $15 in bonus OneKeyCash by simply downloading the Hotels.com app (iOS, Android).

You can find the link to download the app here. Several Upgraded Points staffers noticed it was difficult to find the QR code necessary to claim the offer, but you should click through on the provided link, click around a bit after you sign into your account, and return to the home page. There’s a good chance you will find the pop-up window then.

There are terms and conditions you should be aware of:

  • The bonus OneKeyCash will expire 90 days after it’s issued.
  • A “qualifying purchase or redemption activity” refers to a One Key-eligible hotel or travel item that has been both booked and paid for or redeemed with OneKeyCash through your account.
  • Bonus OneKeyCash is limited to the intended recipient, new app downloads only, can only be redeemed once across the Expedia, Hotels.com, and Vrbo brands, and is not transferable.

Final Thoughts

This is not an earth-shattering offer, and even if you can take advantage, your bonus OneKeyCash is only valid for 90 days. There’s a relatively quick turnaround period to be aware of. Plus, if you have used Hotels.com in the past, there’s a good chance you’ve already downloaded the app, which could mean you’re out of luck.

However, at the end of the day, free money is free money. If you haven’t already downloaded the Hotels.com app, there’s no reason not to take advantage of this opportunity. After all, it should only take you a few minutes at most to earn your free rewards.
