Getting a reservation at a newly Michelin-starred restaurant is hard. Getting a seat at a collaborative dinner between 2 starred chefs is nearly impossible — unless you have the right credit card.

Capital One’s Dinner Party series returns in 2026 with 9 new events, continuing its partnership with The Michelin Guide and Eater to put cardholders at tables most people can’t get near.

Here’s how you can snag a seat at the (dinner) party.

What Is Capital One Dinner Party?

Dinner Party is Capital One’s curated dining series, built in partnership with The Michelin Guide and Eater.

Rather than competing with the general public for a table at the hottest restaurants in the country, eligible cardholders can purchase seats at exclusive dining experiences at some of the most acclaimed spots in Chicago, New York City, and Washington, D.C. For 2026, 9 new events have been added to the lineup, with tickets going on sale in June through Capital One’s entertainment portal.

Hot Tip:

Exclusive tables, dinner events, and hard-to-get reservations are the latest trend among premium credit cards. Chase offers exclusive reservations, while Citi offers the “Supper Club” to its cardholders.

Who Gets Access — And Who Gets Priority?

Any Capital One cardholder can purchase Dinner Party tickets, but Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card holders have a real advantage. These cardholders receive priority access, meaning they get first crack at tickets before they open to other cardholders. They also earn 5x miles on Dinner Party ticket purchases, which stacks nicely on top of what will likely be a premium price tag.

The 2026 Dinner Party Lineup

Here’s the full slate of upcoming events, which will go on sale at this link sometime in June.

New York City

  • July 16 at Yamada: Chef Isao Yamada hosts Chef Buddha Lo of 1-Michelin-Star Huso for a collaborative dinner at the newly starred Yamada (in partnership with Michelin Guide).
  • August 13 at Oyatte: An early seat at the highly anticipated Korean fine dining debut from Chef Hasung Lee (in partnership with Eater).
  • September 22 at Jungsik: A 15th anniversary celebration at the 3-Michelin-Star restaurant with Executive Chef Daeik Kim.

Chicago

  • July 9 at All Well: The first new restaurant in a decade from the team behind 2-Michelin-starred Oriole — an inside look before the crowds arrive (in partnership with Eater).
  • August 25 at Mi Tocaya Antojería: Chef Diana Dávila explores how heritage and family tradition shape her inventive take on Mexican cuisine.
  • September 10 at Elske: Chefs Anna and David Posey offer a behind-the-scenes look at their 1-Michelin-Star kitchen and a menu tracing their culinary journey (in partnership with Michelin Guide).

Washington, D.C.

  • July 14 at Queen’s English: Chef Henji Cheung walks guests through the global path — Hong Kong to New York to D.C. — that defines his cooking.
  • August 18 at Albi: Chef Michael Rafidi hosts UK-based Chef Tomos Parry of 1-Michelin-Star Brat for a live-fire collaboration at 1-Michelin-Star Albi (in partnership with Michelin Guide).
  • September 17 at Alfie’s: The beloved Thai pop-up from chefs Alex McCoy and Justin Ahn celebrates its permanent home (in partnership with Eater).

Final Thoughts

Dinner reservations at Michelin-starred restaurants are hard enough to get on a normal day — let alone at collaborative dinners with guest chefs.

Including priority access to these events as part of the Capital One Venture X card benefits is a genuinely useful perk for cardholders who care about food. Add in 5x miles on ticket purchases, and this is one of those cases where a card benefit delivers something you can’t replicate on your own.

Tickets go on sale in June.
