Capital One continues to improve its airport lounge offerings, and now eligible cardholders will have access to over 100 more lounges worldwide thanks to a partnership with Plaza Premium Lounge.
Cardholders of the Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card already had access to the stunning Capital One Lounges as well as 1,300+ lounges in the Priority Pass network. This makes the Capital One Venture X card a very attractive premium card, and even the Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card and Capital One Spark Miles for Business cards will benefit from this new partnership.
Let’s take a look at the new lounge benefits from Capital One and Plaza Premium.
Select Capital One cardholders will have more lounge options when traveling this summer as the Capital One Partner Lounge Network has expanded with the addition of 100+ Plaza Premium Lounges worldwide.
The Capital One Partner Lounge Network already included Capital One Lounges and Priority Pass lounges, but the Plaza Premium Lounges have been out of reach for many travelers lately.
Up until July 2021, Priority Pass members could access Plaza Premium Lounges for free, however that partnership ended during the pandemic. That left a big hole for travelers who frequented Plaza Premium Lounges during their travels, outside of those with The Platinum Card® from American Express. Now Capital One is stepping up to fill the void for eligible cardholders.
Eligible Capital One cardholders can access some great lounges for free, including:
Normally these lounges have a daily (or hourly) fee, so being able to use them without charge is a major perk for cardholders.

With this news, Capital One Venture X cardholders will now have complimentary unlimited access to over 100 Plaza Premium Lounge locations worldwide.
This is in addition to the 1,300+ Priority Pass Lounges and the Capital One Lounges that were already available for cardholders.
Capital One Venture card and Capital One Spark Miles cardholders receive 2 annual lounge visits as part of their annual fee.
Those passes can now be used at any of the Plaza Premium Lounges worldwide or the Capital One Lounges.

Overall, this is great news for Capital One Venture X cardholders.
Getting access to more lounges across the globe will be more than welcome as travelers get back to the skies with increasingly high numbers. Being able to escape often overcrowded and understaffed airport terminals and enjoy a quiet beverage can make traveling much more enjoyable.
The Capital One Venture X card was already an excellent premium card with the lowest annual fee of its competitors, and it just got better.
