Capital One Adds Vacation Rentals to Premier and Lifestyle Collections

Vacation Rentals Earn 5x Capital One Miles

Capital One announced on February 27, 2024, that it would add vacation rentals to the Premier and Lifestyle Collections, available through Capital One Travel. Vacation rentals will earn 5x Capital One miles per dollar spent.

Capital One said the decision to launch Capital One Travel Vacation Rentals came after receiving “positive customer feedback” since the launch of Premier and Lifestyle Collections in 2023.

As a refresher, the Premier Collection is a luxury hotel program exclusively for Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card holders, giving access to perks like free breakfast, a $100 experience credit, and more. The Lifestyle Collection offers perks like daily breakfast for 2, a $50 experience credit, and room upgrades when available.

“When it comes to home rental properties, there are many options to weed through, and it can be hard to feel confident in what you are booking,” Capital One said.

The program will initially be available in destinations across North America but will expand to include international destinations.

Capital One Vacation Rentals Benefits

To be eligible, you’ll need an eligible Capital One credit card. However, the card you have determines the vacation rental collection you can access. For instance, vacation rentals through Capital One Travel’s Premier Collection are available to Capital One Venture X card and Capital One Venture X Business Card holders.

Vacation rentals through Capital One Travel’s Lifestyle Collection are available to cardholders with a Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card and Capital One Spark Miles for Business*×Information collected independently. Not reviewed by Capital One. card (closed to new applicants), plus the Capital One Venture X card and Capital One Venture X Business card (the business cards use the Capital One Business Travel portal).

When booking a vacation rental, you’ll be entitled to the following benefits:

• Experience credit for amenities like in-home chef meals, pre-arrival groceries, mid-stay cleans, and more. (Premier Collection bookings receive a $100 experience credit; Lifestyle Collection bookings receive a $50 experience credit).

• Early check-in and late checkout (when available)

Capital One seems to have chosen high-end destinations without many major hotel chains. Some participating properties include Hilton Ivory in Hilton Head, South Carolina (Premier Collection) and Painted Sand in Coachella Valley, California (Lifestyle Collection).
