DoorDash, in partnership with Chase and Mastercard, announced today the DoorDash Rewards Mastercard®, a cash-back credit card with no annual fee.
As with all new card announcements, there’s a lot to know, so let’s get to it.
Earn Cash Back
As expected, the DoorDash card will earn the most cash-back on purchases made at DoorDash and Caviar. Here’s the earning structure:
- 4% cash back on DoorDash and Caviar orders
- 3% cash back on dining purchases made directly with the restaurant, either online or in-store
- 2% cash back on grocery store purchases, either online or in stores
- 1% cash back on all other eligible purchases
Cash-back rewards don’t expire as long as the account is open and can be redeemed in 3 ways. You can use rewards to pay for all or part of a DoorDash or Caviar order, receive a statement credit or direct deposit into your bank account, or redeem for gift cards to participating retailers.
New Cardmember Offer
With the NEW DoorDash Rewards Mastercard get a FREE year of DashPass ($96 value). The complimentary DashPass benefit is extended each anniversary year that the cardmember spends at least $10,000 on the card.
Hot Tip: DashPass members get unlimited $0 delivery fees and lower service fees on all eligible orders over $12. It also grants 5% DoorDash credits back on pickup orders and members-only offers.
Additional Card Benefits
In addition to the cash-back earnings listed above, DoorDash Rewards Mastercard cardmembers can also look forward to the following:
- No foreign transaction fees
- Auto rental collision damage waiver
- Trip cancellation and interruption insurance
- Extended warranty
- Purchase protection
Final Thoughts
Chase and DoorDash have launched the food delivery company’s first-ever co-branded credit card aimed to offer more value to its customers.
The brand-new DoorDash card is an obvious option for those who already frequently use the popular delivery app, as the generous cash-back rates and complimentary DashPass are great incentives to get the card. DoorDash delivers orders made at convenience, grocery, alcohol, and DashMart, in addition to restaurants.
