Chase has announced its newest business credit card, the Ink Business Premier℠ Credit Card. This new entry helps round out Chase’s Ink card lineup and will be especially appealing for big spenders, though it does come with the steepest annual fee of the bunch at $195 per year.
Here’s everything you need to know about this new card to help determine if it’s a good fit for your business’ needs.
Ink Business Premier Card Welcome Bonus
New cardholders can earn $1,000 in cash-back after spending $10,000 on purchases in the first 3 months of card membership. This means that after completing the minimum spend requirement, you’ll have at least $1,200 worth of cash-back rewards.

- 5% cash-back on travel purchases made through the Chase travel portal
- 2.5% cash-back on purchase of $5,000 or more
- 2% cash-back on all other purchases
As you may know, other cash-back Chase business cards, like Ink Business Unlimited® Credit Card and Ink Business Cash® Credit Card, earn cash-back rewards in the form of Ultimate Rewards points that you can then combine with cards that offer access to travel transfer partners, like the Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card.
However, it seems that while the Ink Business Premier card will earn Ultimate Rewards, you may not be able to combine these points with your other Ultimate Rewards-earning cards. If so, this would be a stark change from Chase’s usual strategy with its rewards cards, though we won’t know for certain until closer to the card’s official launch date in early 2022.

Final Thoughts
If, in fact, the Ink Business Premier card does not offer Ultimate Rewards points pooling and its primary use is a cash-back card, then it likely will only be useful for large businesses with high levels of spending. After all, there are already cash-back cards on the market, like the Capital One Spark Cash Plus Card and the American Express Blue Business Cash™ Card that earn 2% back on all purchases up to $50,000 per year (1% thereafter) with lower annual fees.
