The wait is finally over for the first-ever Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club, which had its grand opening on October 25, 2022.

Its location is in Hong Kong International Airport (HKG) rather than the U.S.

Here’s what we know about Chase’s first Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club location.

First Location Opens in Hong Kong (Of All Places)

Located on level 7 near gate 40 inside Terminal 1 of Hong Kong International Airport, the all-new Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club is the first of 9 lounges that are due to open soon.

The almost-12,000-square-foot lounge is open to guests from 8 a.m. through 8 p.m. and offers all of the usual amenities, including dedicated spaces for relaxing or working; fresh, seasonal, and locally curated menus with gluten-free and vegan options; and a drink menu complete with cocktails, wines, local beers, and soft drinks.

We can expect 8 more Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club locations to open, with 6 of them already confirmed for the U.S. These include lounges in Terminal B to C connector at Boston (BOS), Terminal B at La Guardia (LGA), Terminal 1 C gates at Las Vegas (LAS), Terminal 4 South 1 at Phoenix (PHX), Terminal 2 West at San Diego (SAN), and Terminal A at Washington-Dulles (IAD).

How To Get Access to Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club

Despite the name, the Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club locations will be accessible to more than just holders of the Chase Sapphire Reserve®.

You’ll also be able to get into the new lounges in Hong Kong and around the U.S. (once they’re open) if you’re a Priority Pass or LoungeKey member.

The arrival of the Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club in Hong Kong is great news for Priority Pass members who previously only had restaurants available to them.

If the Chase Sapphire Reserve card’s annual fee is a bit on the steep side for you, then there are a host of other credit cards with lounge access.

Final Thoughts

Your next journey through Hong Kong’s Terminal 1 could be made a lot better if you have access to the brand-new Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club.

The lounge is the first of many that are set to open their doors across the U.S. (and maybe beyond) and is a welcome addition for both Chase Sapphire Reserve cardholders and Priority Pass and LoungeKey members alike.
