Choice Privileges has extended a great promotion, offering double points on stays through the middle of May. Luckily, there are no hoops to jump through for this offer, and there’s no limit to how many points you can earn.

Here’s what you need to know!

Offer Details

Choice has 22 brands under its umbrella, from Cambria Hotels to Radisson. From now until May 14, 2025, you can earn double base points for every eligible Choice Hotels stay. However, WoodSpring Suites hotels, Mainstay Suites, Everhome Suites, and Suburban Studios aren’t participating in this offer. Previously, Ascend Hotel Collection all-inclusive resorts weren’t participating in the offer, but that’s no longer the case.

Before you book, you must register for the promotion. Your stay must be booked through ChoiceHotels.com, the Choice mobile app, 800-4CHOICE, or Google (if you add your Choice Privileges member number while booking).

Most stays are eligible for this offer, though there are some terms to note:

  • Certain hotel-initiated promotional rates don’t qualify.
  • Reward night stays, complimentary rooms, rooms paid for as part of a convention or meeting, rooms booked through a travel agent or third-party online retailer, including online travel agencies.
  • Double earnings will apply to the base points only, not any bonus points from elite tiers.

The number of bonus points you can earn with this promotion is unlimited, though your stay must end by May 14, 2025.

Members earn 10x points per $1 spent on hotel stays with Choice, so that’s doubled to 20x with this offer. At Upgraded Points, we value Choice Privileges points at 0.6 cents apiece. That means you’re getting a 12% return on every dollar you spend.

To earn even more Choice Privileges points, consider using a Choice Privileges co-branded credit card or a card that earns Amex Membership Rewards points, Capital One miles, Citi ThankYou Points, or Wells Fargo Rewards points. That’s because these currencies can be transferred to the Choice Privileges program almost instantly.

Citi ThankYou Rewards and Wells Fargo Rewards cardholders can transfer their points at a favorable 1:2 ratio, which is double the ratio you’ll get using Capital One or Amex transfers.

Final Thoughts

Choice frequently runs promotions where guests can earn bonus points on stays, and this one isn’t much different from what we’ve seen in the past. If you have a stay at a Choice hotel coming up, be sure to register for this promotion to earn extra points!
