Choice Privileges is back with a new promotion — to the tune of 8,000 points for every 2-night stay through January 5, 2025.

Here’s what you need to know!

Offer Details

Choice has 22 brands under its umbrella, from Cambria Hotels to Radisson. From now until January 5, 2025, you can earn up to 8,000 points for every eligible 2-night Choice Hotels stay.

Before you book, you must register for the promotion. Your stay must be booked through ChoiceHotels.com, the Choice mobile app, 800-4CHOICE, or Google (if you add your Choice Privileges member number while booking).

Most 2-night stays are eligible to earn 8,000 points. The exceptions are:

  • Certain hotel-initiated promotional rates
  • Reward night stays, complimentary rooms, rooms paid for as part of a convention or meeting, rooms booked through a travel agent or third-party online retailer, including online travel agencies
  • Stays at WoodSpring Suites hotels, Mainstay Suites, Everhome Suites, Suburban Studios, and Ascend Hotel Collection all-inclusive resorts

The number of bonus points you can earn with this promotion is unlimited, though your stay must occur before January 5, 2025.

The 8,000 points are enough for a $50 gift card at many leading retail brands worldwide.

At Upgraded Points, we value Choice Privileges points at 0.6 cents apiece. Therefore, earning 8,000 points would be worth about $50, the same value you’d get for redeeming for a gift card.

To earn even more Choice Privileges points, consider using a card that earns Amex Membership Rewards points, Capital One miles, Citi ThankYou Points, or Wells Fargo Rewards points, as these currencies can be transferred to the Choice Privileges program almost instantly.

Citi ThankYou Rewards and Wells Fargo Rewards cardholders can transfer their points at a favorable 1:2 ratio, which is over double the value of the other 2 transferable point currencies.

Hot Tip:

Once you’ve amassed a collection of points, get inspired for an award with our guide to redeeming Choice Privileges points.

Final Thoughts

Choice frequently runs promotions where guests can earn bonus points on stays, and this one isn’t much different from what we’ve seen in the past. If you have a stay at a Choice hotel coming up, be sure to register for this promotion to earn extra points!

The information regarding the Citi Premier® Card has expired and the card is no longer open to applicants.
