Hilton has opened a resort in the mountains of Georgia — and it’s extremely impressive.

First Hotel Built on Lookout Mountain Since Great Depression

Cloudland at McLemore Resort Lookout Mountain, Curio Collection by Hilton has 245 guest rooms, with the count including 19 suites.

Amenities include 3 restaurants, a cafe, a sky bar, an infinity pool, a spa, a fitness center, and access to 2 golf courses. Guests will also have access to 20,000 square feet of meeting and event space.

Located in the northwest corner of Georgia, Lookout Mountain is famous for its natural beauty and breathtaking views. Hilton says Cloudland is the first hotel built on Lookout Mountain since the Great Depression.

The resort is remote yet close enough to major cities. It’s a 30-minute drive from Chattanooga and 2 hours from the Atlanta, Birmingham, and Nashville metro areas.

Booking Cloudland at McLemore Resort With Points

Cloudland at McLemore Resort is now open for guests. The hotel is part of the Hilton Honors loyalty program, which means you can earn and redeem Hilton Honors points during your trip.

Rates are commensurate with what you’d expect from a resort hotel. Cash prices start at around $450 per night for dates this summer.

If you have Hilton Honors points handy, you’ll pay just 85,000 per night for a standard room reward in July. (Hilton Honors does not use an award chart, meaning rates can be higher or lower depending on travel dates and availability. However, award pricing at this resort seems to be standard across the board).
