With Spring Break just around the corner, these great value premium economy fares to Dubai (SHJ) could be just what you need.

The Emirati city is famed for its fancy hotel pools, world-class dining, and year-round sunshine, and you can experience it for yourself by booking these premium economy flights starting at $1,176 round-trip.

Here’s more information about the fares and how best to book them for yourself.

Fare Deal — Details

First things first, the flights are actually to a city called Sharjah, which is about a 30-minute drive from Downtown Dubai.

These fares may be so low because there are 2 brief layovers in Philadelphia (PHL) and then again in Doha (DOH).

Considering you’ll pay more than double just to save a few hours on the journey with a 1-stop itinerary, this option with American Airlines and Qatar Airways is by far the best value for your money.

It’s also worth noting that the long-haul leg between Philadelphia and Doha is in premium economy, yet the shorter legs are in regular economy.

These valuable fares from L.A. and San Francisco start in March:

And they’re available for a period of a few weeks until May:

Best Ways To Book

You can book these fares directly with American Airlines, which means you’ll be able to earn a decent amount of miles when booking with a travel rewards credit card.

For this booking, making your purchase with co-branded American Airlines credit card could make sense if you want to earn more AAdvantage miles. Otherwise, use one of our recommended credit cards for airfare purchases.

Hot Tip:

If you’re a frequent flyer, but not always with American Airlines, then a card like The Platinum Card® from American Express might be better suited to your wallet to earn well on airfare purchases and get lounge access after enrolling for this benefit.

Final Thoughts

If you’re looking for a getaway with a difference this spring, then you might consider snapping up these excellent premium economy fares to the other side of the world.

Here are some of our favorite boutique hotels in the city to help you finalize your plans.
