There’s exciting news from Delta Air Lines this morning. The airline has announced a Delta One Lounge at Seattle (SEA), plus several new Sky Club lounges opening this year.

There’s a lot of details to cover, so let’s dive right in!

Delta One Lounge Network Expands on the West Coast

Delta Air Lines announced on January 15, 2025, that it will open a Delta One Lounge at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA).

The lounge will span nearly 11,000 square feet and have an open-air terrace with views of Mount Rainier. Delta One Lounge Seattle will open “this summer,” though the airline didn’t mention an exact opening date.

Delta has been fast-growing its ultra-luxe Delta One Lounge network. While its footprint is still pretty small — especially compared to the Sky Club network — Delta is strategically placing these lounges in major hubs. Right now, there are 3 open Delta One Lounges in New York (JFK)Los Angeles (LAX), and the recently opened 6,700-square-foot Delta One Lounge in Boston (BOS).

Bottom Line:

The Delta One Lounge network is for the airline’s most premium customers, and the entry requirements are different from those for the Delta Sky Club lounges. Simply having a credit card isn’t enough to get in. Generally, you’ll need to be flying Delta One business class, have Delta 360 status, or be flying business class on select Delta partners.

Delta also announced that several new Sky Club lounges would be added to its network. Let’s take a look at them:

  • Atlanta (ATL): A 23,000-square-foot Delta Sky Club will open in Concourse D this spring and will be the second largest at ATL.
  • Salt Lake City (SLC): A second Sky Club will open at SLC in the fourth quarter of 2025; it will be one of the largest in the network.
  • Seattle (SEA): A 14,000-square-foot Delta Sky Club will open in Concourse A in May. It will sit on the lower level of the Delta One Lounge.

Additionally, the Delta Sky Club at Philadelphia (PHL) will expand by 2,000+ square feet in the fourth quarter of 2025. However, it’s unclear what this expansion will entail.

Final Thoughts

A new Delta One Lounge will open in Seattle this summer, joining 3 other lounges across the U.S. While details about the Seattle lounge are scant for now, we know it’ll be ultra-luxe, and admission will be restricted to Delta One business class passengers or those flying business class on select Delta partners.
