Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is continuing to expand of the Dolce brand in Europe with the opening of a resort in the French region of Bièvre Valley.

Let’s check out this gorgeous new hotel and how to book it with Wyndham Rewards points!

Historic Hotel Opens Outside Paris

Dolce by Wyndham Versailles – Domaine du Montcel has 178 guest rooms and suites. Located near the Palace of Versailles, the resort was once the residence of the Oberkampf-Mallet family, a family of French bankers, in the 1700s.

Amenities include 2 restaurants, a bar with a terrace, a spa and wellness center, and a ballroom.

Charles De Gaulle Airport (CDG) and Paris Orly (ORY) are approximately 30 minutes away by train.

“Dolce by Wyndham Versailles is a timeless destination, perfect for romantic getaways and special events, facilitating both leisure and corporate travel,” Dimitris Manikis, president, EMEA, at Wyndham Hotels. “The hotel offers breathtaking natural scenery and memorable history-rich experiences, all while providing exceptional service alongside luxurious and modern amenities — an unbeatable combination.”

Bottom Line:

Wyndham acquired Dolce Hotels and Resorts in 2015. The brand is known for having hotels in unique destinations and emphasizes food and beverage, meeting spaces, and amenities. Dolce hotels are in 19 locations, including Colorado Springs, Copenhagen, and Türkiye.

How To Book Dolce by Wyndham Versailles

Dolce by Wyndham Versailles – Domaine du Montcel is now open for guests. You’ll find cash rates starting at $300 per night for a king bed.

However, if you have a stash of Wyndham Rewards points you should use them. That’s because award nights are just 30,000 points per night.

Wyndham Rewards has one of the simplest award charts out there. Award nights are either 7,500, 15,000, or 30,000 points per night for all Wyndham hotels.

While earning Wyndham Rewards points isn’t the easiest, the hotel chain has 2 transfer partners: Citi ThankYou Rewards and Capital One Miles. You can also earn points by staying at Wyndham-branded hotels or through welcome bonuses on Barclays’ co-branded Wyndham Rewards credit cards

Wyndham is the world’s largest hotel chain, with 9,200 hotels across nearly 100 countries. The chain has some of the most recognizable hotel brands out there, from La Quinta to Howard Johnson, and has a partnership with Ceasars Rewards.

Final Thoughts

The Dolce by Wyndham Versailles is positively stunning and is an excellent addition to Wyndham’s portfolio in France. With award rates costing just 30,000 points a night, this resort will likely become popular for travelers looking to stay outside of Paris!
