Canada’s Flair Airlines is giving Montrealers new options for inexpensive escapes to the sun starting this the option of cheap winter sun escapes this fall.
The Edmonton-based ultra-low-cost carrier will serve the popular vacation destinations of Fort Lauderdale (FLL) and Orlando (SFB) from Montréal’s Pierre-Elliott Trudeau International Airport (YUL) starting on October 29, 2023.
“Florida is incredibly popular for Montrealers, but historically the fares have been very high,” said Garth Lund, Chief Commercial Officer at Flair Airline. “Our Florida routes have proven popular across our network and so it’s a natural fit to offer service from Montréal.”
Here are the details of Flair’s new trans-border service.
Nonstop Service Between Montréal and Florida Coming This Fall
Montréal (YUL) will join Kitchener (YKF), Ottawa (YOW), and Toronto (YYZ) as Flair’s fourth Canadian airport with nonstop service to Fort Lauderdale and Orlando’s Sanford Airport, the city’s secondary airport.
The new routes will also be Flair’s only international services from Montréal.
The Montréal to Fort Lauderdale service will operate daily with the following schedule:
Round-trip fares from Montréal to Orlando-Sanford start at $124, less than half the cost of the cheapest equivalent service with Air Transat to Orlando International Airport (MCO).
And if you originate in Orlando, you can get an even better deal, with round-trip fares starting at just $92.
