Choice Privileges Offers Free Grubhub Delivery [500+ Hotels!]

Choice Privileges members, listen up: the hotel chain is offering free Grubhub delivery at select brands.

This offer is available at participating midscale and extended stay Choice Hotels brands, including Everhome Suites, Clarion Pointe, Comfort Inn, Mainstay Suites, and Sleep Inn properties.

Choice guests can access a branded ordering and delivery experience within the Grubhub app while on a hotel’s property. Members will receive 1 free month of Grubhub+ — valued at $9.99 per month — which offers unlimited $0 delivery on orders of more than $12.

Choice said in a statement that the partnership with Grubhub, one of the largest delivery platforms, will “add additional value for our members.”

“Offering $0 delivery fees with Grubhub enriches the guest experience at these participating hotels as it provides logistical and financial ease to guests seeking food delivery,” said Julie Purser, Vice President of Loyalty Strategy and Membership Rewards at Choice Hotels.

Choice hasn’t released which hotels specifically will partake in the program but says more than 500 hotels will participate.

How To Get Free Delivery Through Grubhub

While this is a solid offer, especially if you stay in Choice’s extended-stay hotels, it certainly isn’t the only way to score free delivery or get a Grubhub+ membership.

If you aren’t familiar, Grubhub+ is a monthly subscription with free delivery on all orders over $12. You’ll also get some other perks, such as discount promo codes.

To sign up, go to your account on either the website or mobile app (iOS, Android) and then click “Grubhub+.” You can try it out for 2 weeks for free before your credit card is charged. Several credit cards offer perks with Grubhub (or other food delivery services), including the American Express^® Gold Card ($10 monthly dining credit, enrollment required). Bank of America credit cardholders can also get 1 year of Grubhub+ for free.

Finally, several credit cards offer rewards for dining, such as the Chase Sapphire Preferred^® Card (3x points on dining) and the Chase Sapphire Reserve^® (3x points on dining).

Final Thoughts

This is a cool partnership between Choice and Grubhub, which is offering free delivery at hundreds of Choice hotels. While this isn’t the only way to get free delivery — especially if you have certain credit cards — it’s still a valuable benefit to have during your stay!
